Relations

The Dark Kingdom

  • Queen Beryl: One might strain to call Erythrite's relationship to Queen Beryl a relationship because it is explicitly less that than it is she gives the orders and he obeys like a good slave. Nevertheless, Erythrite strives to gather the most energy and exploit humans the most efficiently to please her, and he lusts after the Silver Crystal in the hopes that delivering it to her could convince her to make him one of her Shitennou instead of that fool Jadeite.
  • Zoisite: Of the Dark Kingdom's generals, Zoisite is the one Erythrite respects the most, largely because he's the most animated and the least predictable - and he has the power to get away with being like that in front of whomever he wants. Smug or not, Erythrite finds he can live with it if it means his life is remotely interesting as a result.
  • Jadeite: Erythrite's feelings towards this man fall on the far opposite side of the spectrum to how he views Zoisite. Generally he sees Jadeite as an obsequious tool with simplistic ideas and an overly large ego, but that's more because he sees him as the most vulnerable of the generals. He does not talk about it, but he views Jadeite as an obstacle to his own ambition to one day become one of the Shitennou.

Foes

Friends

  • Michiru Kaioh: Takumi ran across this girl while painting by the riverside one day and found an odd connection to her based on art. In some ways she's his opposite, his paintings evoking the grim truth in their subjects, hers evoking the serene beauty within them. The part of him that is still human finds Michiru fascinating enough that he can shrug off some of his natural cynicism, but his professional inner jerkface can't help but wonder what it is about her that seems to strike him so strangely.
  • Haruka Ten'oh:
  • Minako Aino: She is not the sort of person Takumi normally rolls with, but Minako's exuberance and cheer seemed vaguely contagious when their paths briefly crossed, even if he sees her the same way someone might watch a train wreck. Takumi himself has little time for such emotions as joy and love, but he finds it horrendously fascinating when he gets typo-laced emails from her and tries very hard to hide his amusement at that fact.
