Profile
Hayate Yagami was an ordinary third-grader with a great deal of tragedy in her life. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her alone on the support of a foreign Uncle, alone to fight a possibly terminal and definitely debilitating illness that kept, and keeps, her wheelchair-bound to this day. Despite that, she is warm, cheerful, and kind, eager to befriend anyone she meets and bring them home to feed (and sometimes clothes) them. Her inheritance of the Book of Darkness was met with a similar reaction; once the Lost Logia's potential power and deadly price were fully explained to her, she rejected them entirely, wishing instead to live with her newfound family in peace and happiness. Unfortunately, without their intervention, she will surely die with them instead.

Powers/Abilities
The Mistress of the Book of Darkness: Hayate owns the Book of Darkness, a tome of immense magical power that somehow made it into the hands of a nine year old girl. She is its master, but does not exert any direct power over the Knightly servants that came from the book. She could if she desired to, but she doesn't want to. Unbeknownst to her, the book is slowly killing her.

- Vita: Vita is a bit rude sometimes, but she's trying and she's like the sister I never had, how could I not love her?

- Eri Shimanouchi: A very kind magical girl, she seems new at it so I'll do what I can to help her.
- Sakuyo Izumi: She lost her mother and taught me her mother's song. I want to make her happy.

- Alexandra Noblesse: A member of the student councils, she seems to work very hard. Maybe I should be more like her?
- Nadeshiko Fujisaki: One of the Guardians, she came to check up on me and Vita recently. She feels oddly familiar somehow.
- Nanoha Takamachi: Her parents have a sweets store, I thought this would make her and Vita quick friends. I don't know why they aren't.
- Oriko Mikuni: The daughter of some politician who killed himself, she seems quite nice.
