Summary: There are flowers everywhere at Juuban Public School--and a certain Clow Card happens to be behind it.

It is deep into flower blossom season. Juuban Public School is vibrant and verdant with life springing forward. The trees lining the path to the school are rich, healthy, and green, sprinkled with flowers of various colors. The most popular, bar none, is that of the cherry blossom. It is a sign of life, and in a time when such things expressed another, symbolic language, it had such meaning regarding kindness and gentleness.

Today, there are flowers all around the school. The smell was rich and sweet, almost intoxicating if you were smelling it for the first time. If you happened to suffer from allergies, it may be a different story altogether. The petals abandoned the tree if there was a breeze strong enough or if it had grown "old" enough to lose its mooring. As it drifted downwards, other flowers of varying shades of pink had partnered with it in the fall. However, it was interesting.

None of these flowers seemed to be coming from the same trees. Instead, they were coming from a fall far greater. Although, if you were not particularly well versed in botany or plants, you may not have noticed.

Being one who is named for and whose powers come from cherry blossoms Sakura Akagi is always happiest in cherry blossom season. Though it's getting near the end of the blossom season and such, she worries a little about something else going wrong, there's been some postive progress in lots of things too.

She hasn't yet heard the rumors about the strange girl among the blossoms but perhaps she is about to learn firsthand.

The Perfume Warrior dragon mascot, Mist, was waiting outside for her when school let out today. He noticed the change in the flowers before she did, as his nose is very sensitive. When she steps outside the school and looks up a the blossoms, she smiles at the crisp spring scents, but then... as the tiny dragon-fairy lands on her shoulder, and turns white to blend with the color of her uniform shirt, she notices something amiss without him having to say anything. "... all these flowers... don't belong to all of these trees, do they? Do you think it's--"

She starts to, without a certain other plan, follow her nose.

Lera Camry came to Juuban to try to meet up with Yukimi Amane, but then she saw the flower petals falling -- and not just from the trees. She found out not through an awareness of botany or even a high level of attention. No, she learned to fly recently, and sometimes she cheats to get around the city. She ran into them; then she landed, and changed back to her regular Infinity Institute uniform. She smooths it out, before she looks around, sniffing at the air.

She makes a face. "Something about this is funny," she says to the pen in her pocket; Soaring Sky, her Intelligent Device. "They smell nice, but..." Allergies?

"No," Lera answers, with a sigh. She shakes her head, then she jogs a few steps forward -- and spots Sakura Akagi. She blinks once, before she lifts a hand and waves. Maybe she knows, or maybe she is a bystander if this goes wrong, or maybe-- "Hi! These petals are crazy, huh?"

Kinzo Hiroyuki wasn't planning on stopping at Juuban today. There were no play rehersals, and overall, he had a few better things to do. But something caught his nose on his way to the busstop, as he took a deep sniff. It was enough to make him sneeze a moment. "Huh." he murmured to himself. "Smells like... Cherry Blossoms. But---" he pulls out his pocket watch and hrmms, crossing his arms and tapping the side of his chin. Something seemed.. weird.

It was enough for him to walk back towards the school he'd attended the majority of last school year.

Arriving on scene, he waves over at Sakura with a smile, and over to Lera, too.

"Hello!" he says. "...what's with all the flower petals--oh, you don't know either?" he asks.

On top of the school's building on the roof, there dances a young lady in green, corkscrew pigtails. Her dress is a rosy shade of pink with details of flowers around it. Even her skin retains a chlorophyll pigmentation. At first sight, she might come off as either a fairly diseased woman, a witch (especially with all the flowers seemingly coming from her), or some kind of other-worldly being. For those unaware of the Clow Cards, the last option isn't too far from the truth. To the naked eye and those on the ground, she would be fairly difficult to see at this point, but every now and then her dancing allows her skirt to be seen, unlike the other pink colors coming from the sky. At this point, she is unaware of how much mischief she has been unintentionally causing by her whimsical dances.

Around the school, the flowers dance and litter the ground. To her, it's a time to be merry and celebrate life! The petals are coming down at a hearty rate, in synch with her dancing.

Sakura rubs at the back of her head for a moment. "Hmmm... no. I thought maybe..."

Mist is sniffing at the air. He seems visible for a half-moment, but ducks behind her shoulder when he sees Lera. He doesn't know if she's okay.

"Well, it's not me," says Sakura, shaking her head at Lera and Kinzo. "I think... maybe we should... investigate, right?"

She points up. She can smell that there's a concentration on the roof, but she can't fly...

She could transform, of course, and then run straight up there, though maybe it's not necessary. "... I, hope it isn't trouble. Something seems strange. Is there someone up there?"

"I think..." Lera looks up, and she squints; then she looks back at Sakura and Kinzo, wondering for a moment. "...I think I saw a skirt. Maybe someone's up there, um--we can take the stairs?"

She gives Kinzo a look. They worked together enough, and found out their identities when they fought the Witch in the library. But she doesn't know Sakura Akagi so well. She can't transform here. If she could, this would be easier.

"I'm sure it's fine, but it can't hurt to check!" she says, with a nervous laugh. <Pose Tracker> Kinzo Hiroyuki [Infinity Institute (12)] has posed. Kinzo Hiroyuki see's Mist. And watches him duck away. This gets a smirk from Kinzo as he looks over to Sakura. "Yeah. Something smells fishy. I mean. Not /fish/y. But... weird." he says as he scrartches his head as he looks over to Lera as he unfurls his arms. "I wonder..." he says as he hrms.

"Is there a way onto the roof? Otherwise. I can just take the easy way." he says with a wry smirk towards Lera, then over to Sakura. "But. That might spook whatever's up there too. I dunno if falling flower petals constitutes a.. uh. crisis." he insists.

"I can... look, if you want," says Mist, maybe a little timidly. He pokes his head out toward Kinzo. Yeah, this is probably important enough not to be too spooked over. "...I just don't want to go in the hamster ball again..."

Lera stares at Mist for a second, blinking. A talking dragon?

She has a couple as teachers. It isn't that weird. None, granted, are dragons; but, she supposes, Earth must have all sorts of cool animals. She whistles, lowly, murmuring under her breath that Japan is 'so cool.' She shakes her head, before she nods. "Sure," she says. "That's a good idea. Tell us what's up there, okay?"

Kinzo Hiroyuki smiles, the recent events are still fresh in Kinzo's mind and he's sure the trap Mist got stuck in was incredibly devious and complicated and not just something sweet under an empty cement bucket with a stick holding it up. He frowns a little apologetically. "Don't worry Mist." he says. "There's no reason to go up there by yourself!" he says.

He looks over to Lera. "Mist is a friend." he smiles. "Mist, you don't need to hide from Lera. I promise." he says.

Kinzo goes ahead and reaches into his pocket. "I'll go. If you see me fly off in some direction, you know. Danger." he insists.

"Henshin! Dark Amber! Spritz!" there's a transformation sequences--- well a quick brown flash, and then a cloud of sweet smelling, vanilla/wood scent as Dark Amber does his timeskip deal, appearing on the roof in a flash. He looks around curiously, and then blinks at the girl up there.

"...huh. Hello?" he calls out, cautiously. He stands in a neutral stance, doing his best to not be super threatening. COMBAT: Kinzo Hiroyuki transforms into Dark Amber!

The Flower continues her dance, and as she does, the flowers continue to fall. As Dark Amber approaches, she begins to pirouette towards him, stretching her hand out towards him in an invitation to join her. She is wordless, largely as she /is/ a Clow Card and was not created with a speech ability. Upon his appearance, the flowers slightly change-instead of cherry blossoms, now jasmine petals were beginning to fall. In hanakotoba, it is a symbol of friendliness.

Mist now outed, so to speak, he flies up too to follow Kinzo. Since there seems to be no immediate danger, he lands on the roof next to him.

He smells at the air. "Hm, Jasmine! That's a friendly sign." He knows about flower symbols.

"I guess I should go up too though just in case." Sakura reaches for her own perfume. "Henshin -- Cherry Blossom Splash!"

Her own transformation sequence is almost lost among the flower petals that are still falling.

But when, after pink light rushes around, it's over, she tries to find a good path to leap up to the roof.

"Wait, y-you're--" Lera starts to stammer out. Her eyes widen. Japanese Cherry Blossom! She knows her; she even fought beside her a few times. She fishes out her red pen, holds it over her head. "Soaring fire, burning spirit! Soaring Sky, set up!"

Get set!

There is a flash of light up her body; in short order, she has the fancy tailed jacket, the red skirt, and boots of her Barrier Jacket on, and is clutching her sword. She slings the energy blade over her back, focuses, and leaps -- and a ring of red light bursts out from her feet. She shoots up like a rocket, then lands on the roof in a three point stance. Magical Cheeseburger Propane-chan is on the scene.

She looks up at the Clow Card, staring at the woman for a second. Then she tilts her head. "H-Hey," she says. "Are you making all those petals fall? They're pretty."

Dark Amber isn't really up with his flower signage, but Mist helps him out there. The strange woman makes a piroute, and seems to dance gracefully. This makes him cock a brow. No words. But flowers. He holds out his hands and lets it catch a few petals before closing his eyes a bit as he leans them up to his nose. He hrms and lowers his hand as he manages a soft smile. Alright, friendly.

At least it isn't mind controlling people into joining it up here. That would be strange!

"These flowers are very beautiful." he merely says to her. He also thinks a little bit, and gently falls into a ballroom spin, as he's been practicing for the play, he motions his hands out, with a smile- best he can---- "But why are you here. Is this about.... the Cherry Blossoms going away soon?" he asks softly.

Maybe he can get some sort of response. It seems to at least do flowers.

There are even more people! At this, The Flower brightens further and so too does the brightness of the colors. There are jasmine flowers, but also cherry blossoms and other flowers. As she dances further, the amount of flowers on the ground increases.

When the questions are posed her way, she stops and thoughtfully puts a finger to her lips while looking somewhat pensive. Even if she is not exactly human, she does have anthropomorphized qualities. She nods her head about the flowers eventually leaving-it certainly wasn't something she was looking forward to. Eventually, the flowers would have to go, as well as herself when the new Mistress of the Clow would find and capture her.

But until then, she takes the hands of Magical Cheeseburger Propane-chan and leads her around the rooftop in a waltz-style dance. For now, it was time to have fun.

Sakura figured, if it was safe for Kinzo to transform now, then she could too without any worries.

She's happy things all worked out there, smiling as Cheeseburger Propane-chan, a rather important magical girl in her own right, joins up with them.

Japanese Cherry Blossom is the last to touch on the roof. She wonders if things are going to go badly.... but, no, it's just dancing! "She's not... draining scents or energy or anything, is she?"

"She smells much too nice to be a Dark Scent," says Mist. "But... um, she's not a Perfume Warrior either! My nose is sure!"

"Wha--ah, okay!"

Lera laughs when her hands are gripped. She manages to keep up, with a few stumbling steps at first. It seems, though, that Magical Cheeseburger Propane-chan is capable of a few careful waltz steps; her training in the school play helped a lot here. She manages to keep up with the Card-turned-human. She turns and looks over her shoulder at Japanese Cherry Blossom.

"I-I think she's okay!" she says. "This is pretty fun, I gotta say!"

Dark Amber hrms. "I don't think...she's--- um... like us." he says, as he fumbles for politer words for 'not human'. He smiles as she takes Lera's hands- which causes him to chuckle just a little under his breath. He hrmmms a bit, and looks over to Sakura as he relaxes a little. "I think it's safe." he says as he merely watches. He tsks, and offers a hand over to Cherry Blossom. "Come on, let's join em." he says with a wink.

"Can't be any harm in it~" he says.

The Flower is a card that is neither offensive nor defensive, but can be used defensively. With this in mind, the card is only aggressive in wanting to have fun and play with others-of which she is currently enjoying.

As the dancing continues between the involved parties; on the ground, the flowers have entirely blanketed the concrete and grass. In fact, several inches worth of flowers was already laying on the floor with no relief in sight.

Japanese Cherry Blossom takes Kinzo's hand and offers to join the dance. It does seem like a lot of fun!

She spins around a bit.

Mist looks over the edge of the roof, and... sneezes. "Wow. It's like a snow of flowers down there! It's... um, I just hope nobody drowns."

"Whoo!" Lera cheers, with a spin -- and she keeps the dance up, a few careful footsteps keeping her moving. She turns her head, peering over the edge of the building. Which is when she notices the petals piling up. It's beautiful, but inconvenient; they have to stop it sooner or later, she realizes. It could bury the campus. A buried campus won't work.

Even if school being closed because of too many flower petals doesn't sound that bad.

"Hey, um," she says, back to her dance partner. "I think Mist is right. We--er, we can't have too many petals. It'll bury everyone down there, you know?"

Dark Amber spins Sakura around in a ballroom-waltz like manner---- a sense of weird nostalgia overcomes him for a moment, but he looks over the edge as he spins on by and stops, politely, as he looks down. "That's too many..." he murmurs. "Right!" he says with a soft nod. He looks over to the strange girl. "Is there a way to--- stop them from burying the ground?" he asks politely.

"That could be dangerous." he nods.

The flowers on the ground are given a quick glance. To her, it was not /that/ much. She could do far worse! But the real way to end the flowers was for her to either disappear or be captured. At that, she takes her own hand and puts it on her cheek with an exaggerated pout. She looks like a child who had been caught after doing something nice, but destroying the house in the process, her lips puffed out.

At the idea of removing them, she sighs. Her shoulders shrug and she looks just as confused as they do regarding the flowers.

Cherry Blossom stops spinning around, and looks at where everyone is concerned. "Oh. Yes, I guess that's true. Maybe we can't have so many flower petals here. But... do you really just make them as you spin around? An endless supply?"

She ponders. But she can't see it as a bad thing. "...It's romantic! Maybe we can go find someone's wedding and rain petals on them!"

Lera grins sheepishly at the flower lady, her smile apologetic. It isn't really something that she feels that strongly about. After all, flower petals are quite pretty. And, as Cherry Blossom observes, they are quite romantic too!

She claps her hands together, her eyes lighting up at the idea. "Oh! That would be wonderful!" she says. "We should definitely, absolutely, totally do that!"

Dark Amber is thinking, 'oh boy, I'm glad Aimi isn't here, because she's say something emabrassing. Like. 'Like his and Winterberry's?'. and he'd have to excuse himself because he'd go find a corner and die of embarassment. Luckily, no one's ever ever died of embarassment. He thinks a little. "Let's...worry about it later. I'm sure the wind will carry them away, eventually~" he insists.

"Hopefully." he adds, sheepishly.

A wedding? That meant there were even more people!

At both the wedding and the wind blowing them away, the Flower perks and she nods quickly and her attitude returns to a chipper one. Even though she cannot speak, the excitement translates as even more flowers dropping from the sky. Her hands clap together as the flowers continue to fall in even larger amounts.

"Oh! Right! Not here though."

Japanese Cherry Blossom holds out her hands to try to prevent any further flower eruption, but of course that's not very useful. "Let's...."

She looks out over the schoolyard, and toward the town. "Go somewhere safe at least!"

She leaps down from the roof. Fortunately there's a very soft landing down there thanks to the floral mountains.

"Yeah! Not here," Lera agrees. That could, at least, lessen the petals here for now. Not, she thinks, that it isn't pretty. The girl takes a ump down after Japanese Cherry Blossom; she lands in the pile of petals, laughs, and then takes a few shuffling steps forward.

"C'mon down!" she calls up. "We'll go find one!"

As the magical girls lead the charge to finding a wedding, The Flower looks around the roof before grabbing Dark Amber's hands and taking a leap off of the roof. As she does, the flowers match her pace as she lands, almost Mary Poppins-style with her dress serving as a sort of umbrella to slow the fall. As she lands on the ground, she claps her hands again before taking a run (thigh-deep, mind you) into the flowers before disappearing. A few seconds later, she leaps off the roof one more time with her dress poofed out to a sluggish descent.

That's a neat trick, Sakura thinks.

At this point, she'd do to find just about any place where all that flower-shedding is... safe, like maybe a river or a farm. So she'll take what she can get, there. That is, if the flower girl is at all likely to follow.

Mist floats down next to Cherry Blossom, glancing back up. "...You really think it will work?"

"I don't know if we can find a wedding, but we can find... something!" says Cherry Blossom, taking off toward town.

Dark Amber is grabbed by the hand and descends down with the weird flower girl with wide eyes. He hits the ground, and looks confusingly as...she leaps off. Again. Like it was fun for her to do so. He laughs, perhaps even, giggles to himself, as he travels along with Sakura..."Some event going on has to benefit from this..."

He thinks aloud.

"Yeah," Lera agrees with Cherry Blossom. She turns, then looks at Dark Amber for a moment -- and then at the flower girl. She considers for a moment, before her eyes widen. She remembers: she was there the other day!

"The park! There's lots of people there to see the petals. They're almost done, but..." She smiles. "They won't mind. And there's couples there, too, so it'll still be romantic!"

The park? The Flower did not even think of that as an option, but it seemed like a great idea to her. Although she will not be able to move the petals with her, she does try and assist a little by stretching her arms out and having the gusts of wind carry the flowers further into the city.

For now, the flowers are not falling at very strong rates. It's light, as if it were a barely existing flurry.

"Sounds perfect!" Cherry Blossom nods at Lera, and then starts to dash in that direction.
