Consciousness comes slowly to a drowsy Niramo, the sounds of twittering birds and gleaming sunlight working in tandem to rouse her. Cracking open her eyelids, dark green eyes stare upwards at a familiar ceiling in confusion and puzzlement. She didn't remember climbing into bed, but what she did remembered didn't make any sort of sense to the awakened girl, a mish-mash of memories that mixed into muddied waters. Deciding that it didn't mattered right then and there, Niramo turns herself away from the invading sunlight, determined to catch a few more minutes of sleep before she had to get up for school.

And right towards a pair of green eyes staring at her, sparkling with barely-contained joy.

A shrill voice cuts through the quiet peace resting over the Umokeshi household like a hot knife through butter. "Yay, Niramo-neechan's up! She's up, mama!" The source of the noise turns around and charges out of the room, a blur of green and black moving so fast that it makes you wonder if it was ever there in the first place or a trick of the light. It wasn't an optical illusion, if the sounds of stomping feet and hollering filling the house was any indication.

Groaning over the loss of her chance to doze, Niramo pushes aside the wonderful down comforter and blanket from her and sits up, blinking and trying to put herself into a state like being awake before Yamane makes her lap around the house and comes back into her room. "Wait...Yamane...?" Realizing that she most still be halfway in her dream, Niramo shakes her head and slaps her hands against her cheeks softly. She must be feeling very off if she could even forget her little sister like that.

Speaking of whom, the 7-year-old embodiment of all that night owls hate comes running back through her open bedroom doorway, leaping onto the bed and wrapping her tiny arms around Niramo, almost sending the bedbound girl back onto her pillows. She was already dressed in her Juuban uniform, the black jacket and white skirt staying miraculously wrinkle-free from the activity Yamane was already showing, though her white beret has only just managed to stay atop her curly grass green hair. "Come on, Niramo-neechan! You gotta get up or you're gonna be late for school!"

Following after their youngest daughter into Niramo's room were Isozaki and Ushioda Umokeshi, with Isozaki laughing through his combed mustache at the beautiful sight of his two daughters before him. "Like my Niramo-chan would be late for anything in her life. She's always there when it matters the most, and I couldn't be prouder." The tall father was dressed in a gray business suit and with his short dark green combed, despite it being several years since he retired early from the force. Habits die hard for the former police detective.

Ushioda shakes her head at her loving husband's words and nudges him softly in the ribs with an elbow, though she was smiling fondly at her two wonderful children. "Stop it, you can save the praising for later, when Niramo-chan is actually awake and able to pull herself free from Yamane- chan's grasp." Leaning her head on Isozaki's shoulder and smoothing out her apron with a hand, she giggles as Niramo finally manages to pry the little student's arms away and free herself.

Another voice chimes into the conversation, and Niramo tenses up in sudden fear as Takk floats into the middle of the room, in clear view of her family and the Kwami showing no consideration that he was being seen by others. "You were thrashing about so much in your sleep that I had to recruit young Yamane for assista-ACK!" The Kwami was rudely interrupted as Niramo swiftly clamps both hands around Takk's small form and shoves him underneath her pillows. Just what was he thinking, showing himself off after rant after rant of secrecy given to her?! Turning back around and facing her blinking parents, Niramo enacted the master plan she had for such an occasion. "Um...I can explain?"

Ushioda just shakes her head, sending ripples down her knee-length wavy green hair and sighs while Yamane worms around the distracted Niramo to free the trapped Kwami, giggling at her older sister's antics. "There's no need to be so mean to Takk-san, even if I think that he went a little overboard getting Yamane to wake you up." Mentally groaning, Niramo chastises herself for letting such strange thoughts flow through her head and causing her to panic. Of course Takk would be known by everyone in her family, it was one of the things he insisted upon when he had picked Niramo as the chosen one to wear the Miraculous. It would be completely rude to keep her family out of the knowledge that she was one of the destined few that could save the world.

Noting his firstborn's distress, Isozaki sits down on the edge of the plush bed and rests a hand on one of Niramo's legs, squeezing gently to comfort her. "You seem not like yourself today, Niramo- chan. Did you have a bad dream?" The mention of the dream starts to slow down the roiling of the memories she had before she awoke, certain images clearer than others. A frown forms on Niramo's lips, an expression she's clearly unused to doing as she puzzles over the fading dream.

"More like a complete nightmare. I...was fighting against these faceless youma I never seen before, hundreds of them and with other magical girls I never seen before. Some strange asparagus man did...something, and then the stars blotted out. I remember riding on a pink lion, people fighting one another and... Shigure-chan and Kasagami-chan! They were in trouble! And...and I failed to save them." Niramo stares up as the last vestages of her dream forms, and she looks directly at Takk, breathless with concern. "W-was it a vision?"

Even as she says those names, they feel foreign to the tongue. Was Shigure the one with the red hair? Even now, the nightmare was fading, details slipping through her fingers.

The Kwami looks away from playing with Yamane and ponders for a moment, before shaking his head quickly. "The Veil of Prophecy didn't form around you while you slept, and I never heard of a pink lion in all my years. It was likely just a nightmare brought on from the excitement for the start of your new cooking show this afternoon." Isozaki chimes in, after kissing Niramo gently on her forehead. "And you have never failed anyone in your years in fighting under the name of 'Stardust Champion Sourisi'. It was just a bad dream, nothing more."

The calming words and logic both what the magical fairy and her father spoke is quick to calm Niramo , and her relief is clear as she sighs in gratitude. In has been a few years since she has taken up the mantle as the leader of the Stardust Champions, and never once has she failed to save the people of Earth. No matter how great the threat or how dire the situation, the guardians of Earth has always been the first and final defense against the forces of evil, for no more was needed than those three girls.

The smell of cooking pastries drift through the room, and Ushioda turns around in shock. "Ah, the pancakes! I knew I should have turned off the stove before I came up here!" The sole owner of the international resturant chain 'Salvation' rushes out of the room, with Yamane on her heels to make sure that all that their breakfest was unharmed. Isozaki smiles at his amazing daughter before looking over at Takk. "We better let her dress in private, i'm certain she needs to get ready for today." Nodding in agreement, the Kwami flies after the retired detective without a word of argument, with Isozaki only pausing to close the bedroom door behind him.

Alone at last, Niramo looks over at the mirror on her makeup stand and blinks in confusion as something seems out of place on the reflection. Running a hand through her vibrant lime green hair, one last detail from her nightmare makes itself known before it fades away completely. "That's right, I dyed my hair in the dream...Takk's right, too, it's just a tiny bit of nerves. Facing monsters doesn't bother me in the slightest, but being the star of her own show is bound to get anyone riled up." Pushing away her covers, she hops out of bed and walks towards her dresser, excitement humming in her muscles.

"It's going to take more than a bad dream to stop Niramo Umokeshi!"
