Monday afternoon is a time for a certain detested chore - putting out the trash. While not an outright difficult task, it's a tedious one. Citizens are to separate out recyclables, burnables, and various types of garbage for proper collection and disposal. The canisters and bags are heavy, and several need assistance before the garbage collectors arrive.
Fortunately, a few have been receiving help. A passing blond-haired foreigner, tall and broad, cheerfully helps move heavy items without a second thought. It's like moving weighty objects is in his nature or something.
Eventually, though, inspiration strikes him, just as he's turning a corner. "Hang on...these people are miserable because of these garbage cans. If that's the case-" He ducks off in the next blind alley, and a single clap of his hands can be heard.
"SWITCH! OVER!"
From the alley, a caped figure leaps - just as tall and broad, but with mint-coloured hair and dressed in ominous-looking clothes. In motion, he summons a yellow diamond, and hurls it to pierce one of the many garbage cans being wheeled out. "Nakewameke! Obey my command!"
As Westar alights atop a lamppost, smoke engulfs the chosen trash receptacle. A resounding thud echoes through the street as the monster emerges - a metal garbage can two stories tall, with mechanical arms and legs. Hateful eyes flank the yellow diamond on one side, and a metallic voice booms from the monstrosity.
"BURNABLE ITEMS MUST BE SEPARATED!"

Even on days when Ikiko isn't feeding the local stray dogs, she still occasionally visits the packs just to walk with them. "Are all of you having a good day?" she asks them with a smile.
"Yes yes!" several of them bark back, dancing around happily. "Play fetch now?" one play-whines, a stick-like piece of trash in its mouth.
She leans over with a cheerful laugh. "Find a tree-stick, not a human-trash-stick, and then we can play," she offers, taking the piece of trash for later disposal. Trash is trash, not dog toys.
The crashing arrival of the Nakewameke a few blocks away catches the attention of Ikiko on the dogs. "Get to safety; I'll get help!" she tells the strays as she starts running towards the commotion. As the dogs dash the other way, she ducks into an alleyway along the way.
Some murmured words and a silvery glow later, Tsukiko emerges from the other end of the alley. With a few leaps, the wolfgirl lands atop a telephone pole, silhouetted by the sun. She snarls at the Nakewameke, the growl warning the youma that it had better not try anything.

"Ara ... ?"
Fuu Hououji doesn't spend all that much time in the Shitamachi area, outside of Akihabara and occasional visits to certain other attractions - but she was helping out the computer club at Juuban Middle this afternoon, and her route to the train station just happened to pass within earshot of the monster demanding the separation of burnable items from other trash ... or so she presumes. Not that she knows it's a monster, mind you - just somebody with a REALLY loud and somewhat metallic-sounding voice, which stands out enough that she leans around a corner to take a look -
Okay, yeah, monster. She ducks out of view again, pulling out her glove-jewel and tugging it onto her left hand. "Belief becomes power," she murmurs softly, letting her school bag disappear into the glove-jewel before raising her left hand and finishing, "Winds, guide me!"
A whirlwind kicks up around Fuu, her winter coat disappearing and the armor of the Magic Knight of Wind materializing over her color-shifted uniform. Then she steps out fully into view; streaks of light leap from her glove-jewel, curving around for one to land on her back, materializing into her quiver, while the other contacts her left hand and manifests into her bow. An arrow is quickly nocked and drawn, and almost as swiftly loosed - hopefully to draw the monster's attention away from innocent non-magical civilians who are just trying to put their garbage out for pick-up.

Reiko Touyama lives in town. In fact, her street.
"Reiko. Take out the trash." she ignores her mother. "Reiko. Take out the trash." She continues, this continues until such a point her grandfather needs to interefere to ask her nicely to do it and she begrudingly moves as such. Then something dreadful happens...
"Eeeeeee!" she says in distress as a new Nakewameke comes to life in the form of a garbade can, and it's huge. "Ah---this is.. really weird!" Reiko says as she ducks out behind a bush in the neighbor's yard. "Ohhh...now what..." she thinks. "This...isn't a shade. So... not my problem, right?" then she remembers Cute Wolf Tsukiko's words a bit ago. Everyone should work together, and all that. In aucality. She's just scared. This would be her first real fight. But... it's so close to home! What if it... hurts... she just shakes her head and gathers up her courage. "H--here goes nothing..." she says with a stammer.
"Chroma Prism Orange... Transform!". There's a small burst of orange light. and out pops, Prism Keeper Orange! She would probably fly dramatically to some lamppost or telephone pole. BUT frankly. She's had all of a day practice flying. She's proabbly smack into it a lot like a fly against a glass window.
"W...wow this thing is....big...." she says with wide eyes. She shakes it off.
"...Rose are Red.. Violets are Blue, This doesn't Ryhme, STOP DESTROYING STUFF!" she says as she flings her chroma wand overhead, unleashing a quick burst from the top of her wand. It's sort of like an orange beam of energy.

This is logic. People don't like having to take out the trash, and just thinking about garbage cans can cause a little misery. Ergo, being confronted with a giant garbage can should cause lots of misery, right?
Well, it's causing a lot of panic, which isn't bad in a pinch, but Westar is frowning all the same. These civilians - already fools for not bowing to Mobius-sama, of course - don't seem to appreciate what the Nakewameke is, just that it's a giant monster smashing things. Has he done something wrong? Or should he just accept that it's working well enough?
-not one minute, not even one minute of Westar's plan going into action, and already there's opposition! The trio opposing him aren't Pretty Cure, or even anyone he's fought before - but they're attacking his Nakewameke which makes their position clear. The metal vibrates with the growl, and the giant can is slow to turn; an arrow and a beam of orange slam into it, without it seeming to take much notice.
And then, from his perch, Westar speaks! "Hmph! I am Westar - denizen of Labyrinth, and faithful servant of Supreme Ruler Mobius! I seek not your destruction, but your misery - so cry and wail!" He laughs as his minion advances forward, metal feet cracking pavement with each step.
"PICKUP AT SIX AM!" Its lid pops open, and hands rummage inside for a moment - and then start hurling regular-sized trash can lids at all attackers!

Tsukiko hunkers down as the garbage lid flies towards her, holding onto her perch with one hand while the other helps protect her body. The improvised discus stings, but it's a glancing blow.
Besides, she recognized the other attacks that struck the Nakewameke. "Wind Knight! Prism Keeper Orange! Glad to see you here!" the wolfgirl calls out. "Let's send this youma back to the junkyard!" Encouragement and introductions -- who says it's hard to multitask?

Trash can lids should not act like frisbees, much less boomerangs ... but then, this is a supernatural monster, so of course its attacks aren't bound by the conventional laws of mundane physics. So it is that the Wind Knight tries to throw herself flat on the pavement to dodge the flying garbage can lid ... only for it to whack her in the forehead anyway, knocking her glasses askew but not off.
The Magic Knight of Wind gets back to her feet, straightening her glasses and smiling at the Cute Wolf. "Tsukiko-san, it's always good to fight beside you ... and it's a pleasure to meet you, Prism Keeper Orange-san!" She bows politely to the new-to-her magical girl, then turns her attention towards Westar ... still smiling, odd as that might seem.
"It's not exactly a 'pleasure' in your case, but I suppose it's 'good' to meet you as well, Westar-san," says the Wind Knight, bowing slightly. "But whether you desire our destruction or our misery, I intend to give you neither. Please de-summon your monster, or reverse whatever conjuration created it, and be on your way without harming or hindering any other human; that would make life a lot simpler for all of us, yourself included."

Prism Keeper Orange - bong, the lid richochets off her as she squeaks out! "Ah...!?" she tries to sort of brace, but this doesn't work. She reeks of newness. She lands on her behind. "Nrg...this is...tough." she says sadly as she stands back up as she huffs. She looks towards Fuu. Does she know Fuu? It's hard to remember certain things. She does not think she does.
"I'm going to....!" and then she throws an orange lovebeam.
"I don't know what I'm going to do, but you're not going to like it!" she insists indignatly.

Back to the junkyard? Westar's Nakewameke? How could she - not two minutes since it was summoned, and already they're plotting its destruction! How can Labyrinth gather Misery Energy if things like this happen?
It is therefore with a disgruntled expression that Westar turns to Fuu. "Dismiss my Nakewameke? As if I could discard an ally so callously - Mobius's orders are absolute, and we will not rest until we have gathered enough Misery Energy!" The giant garbage can turns to Westar, and gives a nod of agreement, lid rattling.
...of course, technically there were no orders to launch an attack today, and Westar will take a breather if his Nakewameke is no longer able to fight, but until then...
Ruminations are interrupted by a second orange beam slamming into the monster, forcing it back a step or two. Fury crosses Westar's face. "Nakewameke - you know what to do!" The garbage-can monster springs into action - swinging one fist at Tsukiko, and reaching out to snatch up the pain-causing Prism Keeper with its other hand. Fuu gets a furious glare - and a handful of lightbulbs spit out of the top of the can, raining down on her position!
"SEPARATE YOUR RECYCLABLEEEEES!"

Tsukiko tries diving out of the way of the Nakewameke's fist, but at best she's only able to roll with the attack. After an extra tumble or two, she rolls to her feet, slightly scuffed but still full of fight. "Misery Energy? Now I *know* we have to stop you," she shouts, glaring at Westar and circling the Nakewameke. "And you know what? We WILL stop you!"

The flying lightbulbs shower down on the Wind Knight, eliciting a wince as she raises an arm to protect herself as best she can; none of the bulbs (or their broken pieces) get in her face or otherwise draw blood, thankfully, although the pitter-patter of falling objects leaves her a little disoriented.
Not so disoriented as to be helpless, though. "Imashime no Kaze!!" she calls out, whipping her left arm up; in response to her call, the Winds of Admonishment rise around the Nakewameke, trying to bind it in place with a controlled tornado and restrict its movements - maybe restraining its attacks as well. Or so the wind Knight hopes.
"As the Cute Wolf says," she remarks wryly to Westar, "it seems you're not going to give us a choice in the matter ... so be it, I suppose." She smiles ruefully at the Labyrinthian, then turns her full attention back to the trash-can monster.

Prism Keeper Orange throws out her wand and closes her eyes.. "Nrg---!". A School of Koi suddenly pop into existance around her and seems to ward off the hand enough for her to sort of wobbly-hover backwards on her tiny butterfly wings. She opens her eyes a peek to see that she is not horrible hurt by a giant , dark hand of a horrible creature. She frowns as she whirls the Koi around her head, they seem to follow the wand, before they're sent off at the creature, like so many fast moving orange darts.
"I...don't know what's going on, but...you can't just... ramapge through someone's street with a giant garbage can! YOU JUST CAN'T!" she insists loudly, as she tries to steel herself as best as she can, after sending a school of Koi into the direction of the giant garbage can.

The garbage can, of course, has latches to secure the lid against animals. It stares down Tsukiko's challenge, and bellows a challenge of its own in return. "SERVICE CONTINUES ON HOLIDAYS!"
Westar, on the other hand, is both frustrated and infuriated. The street is already clearing, so even the panic of civilians is lost to him. The only one despairing at all seems to be that girl in orange, and there's too much fury there for him to gather much from her.
One minute. His (on-the-spur-of-the-moment) plan couldn't even be left to proceed for one minute before Tokyo's defenders stepped in - there's just too many of them! They're all over the place, like pests! Westar's teeth grind as a howling whirlwind swarming with orange fish batter the garbage can, causing metal to groan from stress...
"So be it! You insist on stopping me and my Nakewameke, do you? If that's the case..." He points dramatically, cape billowing from the movement. "We can and will rampage! Go, Nakewameke - for Labyrinth and Mobius!"
Bursting free of the whirlwind, and letting out a resounding metallic roar, the Nakewameke goes ahead and rampages.

Tsukiko's eyes go wide as the Nakewameke rampages forward. There's no place to jump to in time, so she tries to hunker down and endure. That goes even worse, as she gets pummeled and trampled by the garbage can.
"Owww..." she winces, picking herself back up. She glares at the Nakewameke, then takes a deep breath--
--and howls.
The howl contains the wordless fury of pain, aggravation, and a hint of raw determination beyond the injuries inflicted upon her. It doesn't actually heal the wolfgirl, but she certainly feels better afterwards.

Prism Keeper Orange eyes go wide when this being begins to ramapge. She backs off a bit as it comes down the road, gripping onto her wand. "Ah----...." she takes a deep breath. There's this..big. Horrible creature coming down the road of her, it's rampaging through everything in it's path as if it were made of paper, cardboard and craft tape. She remembers when this was all make belive and pretend. That was funner. This is less fun.
But. What if it wins? That's worse. MUCH worse. So she acts on the only thing she knows. What her make belive character was about.
She attempts to lash out with an orange colored bubble around her, she manages to shrug off the first blow. then the second...and the third, using the wand's emission like some kind of shield. "Ah...!" she seems surprised. It's WORKING.
"You won't be allowed to keep hurting and breaking things on this street, just because it's garbage day!" she yells. She seems to be flaring up with confidence, before she manages to smile like the giggling ten year old she is.
"It's time to take out the trash~..... PRISM AEGIS POWER! ORANGE OUTBURST! she calls out as she flings the wand, two handed over her head, as if flinging the giant orange lovebeam that emits from it.

The Winds of Admonishment don't seem to do much to bind the monster, unfortunately - and a moment later, the Nakewameke runs *WILD*, virtually stampeding over the Magic Knight of Wind as well as the Cute Wolf. In the tumult of the moment, though, the Wind Knight doesn't see how Prism Keeper Orange fares - she just has to hope that her other ally is pulling through all right. And judging by the attack that Prism Keeper Orange unleashes while Fuu gathers herself, she did. The Wind Knight glances over to smile approvingly at her newest ally, then turns her attention back towards the Nakewameke, her bow and quiver vanishing as she brings both arms up and back, stiff breezes ruffling her hair and skirt ...
"Midori no Shippuu!!!"
The Wind Knight flings her arms forward, as if gathering up the wind itself to fling at the monster - and the Emerald Tornado rips towards the trashcan monster, possibly giving a boost to the flight of Orange's wand, but either way, ripping into the Nakewameke itself upon impact.

The Nakewameke's rampage comes to an unexpected halt, one fist slamming against an orange beam of power. The two strain against each other, physical force meeting magical, before the Nakewameke begins to be driven inexorably back. Westar, frowning, leaps down to the street level. Perhaps unwise, but just in case-
The youma is driven back with more force, pushing it past Tsukiko and Fuu. Their powers join the orange beam in the form of sheer sonic fury and an emerald whirlwind. A loud fizzing noise can be heard as the three powers - two of them purifying - hammer against the Nakewameke, blasting it down the street!
The giant garbage can tumbles through the air, and crashes into the standing Westar - who skids further away, bracing the youma's impact. As the burst of power fades away, he peers around the battered garbage can, glowering. "You three-"
He stops, and looks around. The civilians have fled. There's no panic, no despair, only determination...and frankly, no reason to continue the fight for today. This just hasn't worked out, and he pats the Nakewameke's metal side in consolation. "Pfeh. There's no point in continuing today - but don't think I won't remember this!"
Westar glares at the three opponents one last time, then lifts the giant monster, and leaps to a lamppost, and off into the distance.
...he'll probably dismiss the monster. Eventually.

Tsukiko watches Westar depart, satisfied that the current threat has been ended. The Nakewameke might still be present, but it's certainly not in any shape to continue fighting.
With a small smile, the wolfgirl turns to the Wind Knight and Prism Keeper Orange. "Are you two okay?" she asks, glad that everyone's still conscious.

The Wind Knight lets out a breath - really, a sigh of relief more than anything else - as Westar and his monster depart the area. "I hope he doesn't cause trouble for anyone else ..."
She probes gently at some of her injuries - no bleeding, nothing broken, just one bruise that she expects to form if it gets a chance (which she doesn't plan to give it, but there's a bright red mark on her forehead where the trashcan lid hit her early in the fight). "I was about to ask the two of you the same question," she answers the Cute Wolf with a smile, then bows politely to the orange Prism Keeper. "I don't believe we've met previously, although I know one of your probably sisters-in-arms ... I'm the Magic Knight of Wind, or the Wind Knight if you're trying to get my attention in a hurry. It's good to make your acquaintance, as I said earlier ... and if you need healing, my magic should be of assistance in that."

Prism Keeper Orange watches Westar takes off with the garbage can monster away. She blinks as she looks around and looks over to Fuu and Tsukiko with a smile. "Hi...!" she says. She blinks. "Oh... Red. Yeah." she says a little distressed to herself, but merely shakes her head. She sort of wrings her wand a bit. "I..I'm new." she says with a curt nod, having only had her power for about a day and a half.
"This is really scary.... I guess... I guess Red was worried about all this for a reason." she says as she looks between the two.
"....what was that about? Is.. is there really a dark magical group dedicated to stealing trashcans!?" she asks.

"I think the trashcan stealing was by accident," Tsukiko shrugs. "I don't think I've heard of Labyrinth or Mobius before -- well, at least not as a magical girl." Wasn't there a Mobius something-or-another mentioned a few weeks ago in math class? "Still, whatever 'Misery Energy' is, it's probably not a good thing to let them collect."

Orange talk, the Wind Knight takes a moment to compose herself and gather her will, then holds her left hand out in front of her as she says softly but intently, "Iyashi no Kaze!" A gentle breeze gusts forth from nowhere, its softly tinted glow bathing the Magic Knight first, the precursor-bruises fading from view - not just the visible ones on her forehead and legs, but presumably injuries that her clothes and armor cover as well. She stays focused on her spell as she rolls her shoulders and neck a little, 'stretching' just enough to make sure she didn't miss anything ...
"Iyashi no Kaze," she repeats, and the Winds of Healing wrap lightly around Tsukiko next, if the Cute Wolf doesn't balk away from them, and her injuries would be mended in turn. Then the Magic Knight of Wind repeats the process once more, to heal the injuries of their newest acquaintance-and-ally.
When the task of healing everyone up is completed, the Wind Knight lets out a breath and reaches up, pushing up her glasses long enough to rub her eyes. "I'm not sure I'd say that all of the enemies we've faced are this dangerous, Orange-san; some of them are probably worse in their ways. A few are *definitely* worse. A handful ..." She trails off, shrugging lightly. "Some might be considered 'better,' whatever you would hold that to mean."

Prism Keeper Orange feels all...weird and tingly, though not in a bad way, just a new way that is alien to her, as healing magic washes over her in a wind. "Brrr...!" she says as she wraps her arms around her. "What was that?" she asks Fuu as she looks between the two.
"Um...how well do you two know... Prism Keeper Red..?" she asks softly. "I .. I'm new. Like I said. And Red, didn't want me involved. But..." she sighs. "She hasn't told me much still. She's still a little upset about. Me. I mean. Not at me. Just..." she sighs a bit.

Tsukiko is familiar enough with the Wind Knight's healing magic that she doesn't balk from it; rather, she even leans into it slightly, relaxing as the would-be bruises mend. She gives Fuu a grateful smile, then stretches a bit as well -- cooldown stretches are a good end to heavy activity.
"I've fought alongside Red a time or two," the wolfgirl mentions. "She's the one who told me the basics about Shades, but so far I'd have to say that she's mostly just a friendly acquaintance." She shrugs. "I recall her mentioning that she didn't want to drag her friends into the magical girl life, but not many details past that."
Solemnly, Tsukiko looks at Orange. "Knowing what you know now -- about the magical side of life, the battles against more than just your foes, and the fact that it *can* be worse -- would you still choose to be a magical girl, if you had to make the choice again?"

"I've fought alongside Red-san a couple of times," the Wind Knight says to Orange, "although I don't know her other identity yet. I've tried to be a good, supportive sempai for her, but I imagine she's faced a lot that I haven't been there to witness, or to aid her with." She smiles ruefully.

Prism Keeper Orange looks at Tsukiko and frowns..."I...I don't know. All I know is... I'm not..going to let my friend be hurt anymore by these things alone!" she says with a determined humph and a nod. "Besides. I already told you it was my fault too..." she says. She looks up at Fuu..
"She just feels at fault for everything. But it's partly my fault too." she says softly.
She She sighs. "I...should get back home. It's very far away!" she lies. It's right there. She can point to it. She still kinda wants to keep herself secret. "I.. can-- I mean. We'll talk later?" she asks the two.

Tsukiko nods. Not the most confident answer, but still a good one. "Give it some thought," she suggests, a hint of a smile crossing her face. "I should probably be going as well. See you later, Wind Knight, Orange!"

The Wind Knight bows to the two of you. "Take care of yourselves; I'll see you both around!"
And a sudden gust of wind, kicking up *just* enough stray litter from the battle that concluded moments ago, provides enough of a 'distraction' for the girls to go their separate ways. It also boosts the Wind Knight's leap away from the scene, coincidentally enough.
