A girl of exceptional and practiced grace, with long black hair and pale skin like bleached bone. When she transferred to Ohtori Academy there were rumors about her medical history, but Homura demonstrated such coolly effortless perfection that the student populace has mostly moved on to praising her. From afar. With that cool perfection comes a firmly enforced social and emotional distance that rebuffs familiarity and resists forming bonds. Those who know Homura Akemi as a puella magi encounter the same distance, and she even seems to have the strange and miracle-granting Kyuubey intrigued. She's renowned for unbelievable speed in combat, perhaps the result of some strange technique... When Homura thinks no one is looking, she can be caught staring at Madoka Kaname from across their classroom. Often Madoka is the one who catches her at it.
