Demonblood stones are enchanted droplets of Arpía Luta's blood. They take the shape of the missing Wings of Heart in a person's heart, replacing it with Arpía Luta's desires, controlling the unfortunate host and transforming them into a monstrous version of themselves. These stones are notable because they are black, instead of gold or silver. While they occupy the space within the heart metaphysically, they can appear physically on various places of the body, not only the chest (the demonblood stone may appear in a creature's hand, forehead, etc., depending on the monster). If a Demonblood Stone's physical contact with its host is interrupted, the host will be freed of its influence. The stone will revert to liquid form and seek to escape and return to the acolyte that first used it. It can be stopped if it is cleansed by magic (any magical girl who cleanses could do so), and then turns from black liquid into ordinary water. | Demonblood stones are enchanted droplets of Arpía Luta's blood. Called to action throughout the years whenever the demon Arpía Luta resurfaces, the Anemoi Flight's duty is to protect the Wings of the Heart of those who cannot defend themselves, and hopefully one day vanquish the demon once and for all!

History
On a once-peaceful world called Aquiellan, there traveled a kindly goddess named Pia Reina. She roamed the world, tending it and seeing to the needs of her people, accompanied by her three children and the sorceress Amada, who she loved very much. But as sometimes happens, fate was not so kind to the lovers, and Amada took ill and died, leaving those who had loved her to mourn.
However, shortly after Amada’s passing, a mysterious and wicked demon named Arpía Luta arose. She and her two acolytes sought to amass power and locate the reincarnation of the sorceress Amada. They were ruthless in this pursuit: they would kidnap civilians and steal the Wings of their Hearts, replacing them with demonblood stones. These evil stones turned their victims into monsters that fought for Arpía Luta's goals and helped them to spread her influence over the land.
Pia Reina, seeing that Aquiellan was in danger, sent out her children and her loyal companion Raya to seek four mortals of pure heart. She bequeathed them with the power of the four winds-- the Anemoi-- so that they could battle the demon's monsters, protect the innocent, and eventually seal the demon away. Each of the Anemoi Flight fought bravely and earnestly in Pia Reina's service, and they were ultimately successful. They were able to seal away Arpía Luta but it cost their lives.
Unwilling to allow the demon to ever return unchallenged, Pia Reina wished the Anemoi Flight to return, reincarnated anew as defenders of the land, whenever Arpía Luta might.
What are Wings of the Heart, anyway?
Wings of Heart are literally the hopes and dreams a person carries within them-- the things that give them strength in difficult times, and that can lead them out of the darkness during times of great sadness. For a mortal person, the Wings of Heart will take the form of a pair of earrings shaped like the wings that match that heart's desire. Anybody can have them, but the pure of heart will have the wings of a bird, while those who are less so might have bat wings or dragonfly wings. The color of the Wings of Heart is always either gold or silver. Silver wings indicate a weaker heart, gold wings indicate a pure heart and greater power.
Someone whose Wings of Heart have been removed and not replaced can still function as a normal person, but their strength of heart and body is greatly diminished. They can go about their everyday business but they will probably lack enthusiasm for the things they used to love, give up more easily if they encounter adversity, and find it difficult-- maybe even impossible-- to be happy. For some this can even be fatal, and it is never a desirable state, so one of the primary missions of the Flight is to ensure that any stolen Wings of Heart are returned to their owners.
If the stones are able to return to the acolytes, they can collect some basic information about the battle from the stones. The acolytes can also reuse them.
Who are the Anemoi Flight?
Currently Played
Shinichirou Inoue - Zephyr Ala Mode
The Team
Zephyr is the avatar of Spring, flowers & fruit, and wind, the gentlest natured of the four. Zephyr's companion is Septima.
Notus is the avatar of Summer, lightning storms, and the most reckless and short-tempered of the four. Notus's companion is Raya.
Reas, short for Boreas, is the avatar of Winter, ice storms, foresight, and the most spiritually inclined and withdrawn of the four. Reas's companion is Prima.
Eurus is the avatar of Autumn, water and rivers, rainstorms, and is the most patient and adaptable of the four. Eurus's companion is Syncaro.
The four of them can perform attacks together, but each has an individual sphere of primary influence. Zephyr's realm is solely wind and air related; Notus's realm is lightning and thunder, Reas's is ice and snow, and Eurus's is solely water. All four of them are capable of flight in their upgraded forms, but as they first appear the wings on their outfits would appear to be purely decorative.
Who are the antagonists?
The demon, Arpía Luta, has two primary acolytes through whom she acts. These are Nox the Twilight and Hemera the Flame.
Hemera the Flame is a skilled sorceress who wields the power of fire. Nox the Twilight, however, wields the power of illusion and shadow. They are currently both still quite loyal to Arpía Luta. In their modern incarnation they may remember some of their past selves, but not necessarily very much, and are governed by their modern goals as well.
Nox and Zephyr Ala Mode struggle with the memory of loving each other, and may in fact come to feel that way in the modern day, though they do not have to be destined to fall in love again. It definitely is a point of contention for them both and would create conflict for them if or when they meet!
