Traits
Batiste's College Education: Batiste has a substantial depth of academic knowledge both theoretical and practical at his pawtips, but he cannot resist the opportunity to extemporize or educate others given a plausible excuse, or an apparently-attentive audience.
Batiste's Shellfish Hunger: Batiste craves the succulent taste of oceanic invertebrates, allowing him to swim adroitly and granting him a sensitive nose... he will, however, be sorely tempted by offers of shrimp or scallop, either accepting immediately or being paralyzed by the effort of will demanded to resist that savory flavor...
Special Ability
The Softest Touch: Batiste combines emotional intelligence, practical experience in crisis care, and a soft, soft fur coat. He can provide others with emotional comfort with a combination of speech and physical contact. This ability was used to sooth the terrified feline duo of Lion and Luna in the basement of a certain abandoned mansion.

Batiste is splendid in attire and grace!

Born and educated in the Sea of Tears, Batiste is one of the mascots who travel forth to comfort and guide Sirens in their journeys, easing the pains and challenges of what are often strange and difficult roads. He shares quarters in Shibuya 4-4-4 with his cousin (immensely removed - through the Mother of Sorrows), to whom he provides guidance, support, and, in some cases, tutoring. He has not taken to the field in some time, indulging instead in television on his personal smartphone and fine cooking. And yet, the call the action shall come...
