The Origin Story
The Beginning
On another world, in another time, an isolated kingdom existed high on a mountain, hidden amongst the clouds. It was a place of beauty and serenity, a place of peace and prosperity. Within this kingdom existed a magical place known as the Grove of Seasons. Here each season, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, was embodied in a crystal flower which bloomed with the spirit of that time of each year. The seasons gave meaning to the flowers, and in turn the flowers gave meaning to the seasons, representing them in the eyes of the people, symbols of the power and the beauty of the natural order.
Such treasures require guardians, for anything with power produces those who would seize and abuse that power. In the case of the Grove of Seasons, those guardians were the Solstice Angels, an order chosen from among the people of the Kingdom of the Seasons, trained in the arts of martial skill and the use of magic. From among this order were chosen three of the most skilled to represent each season: A Guardian Angel, and his right and left hands, the Ascending and Descending Angel of each season. Each of these three was gifted a magic crystal, a seed of the flower of their respective Season, which gave them enhanced powers and abilities.
For many generations the Solstice Angels protected the Grove and its crystal flowers, safeguarding the meaning of the seasons in the hearts of their people. As Guardians died, others rose to replace them, and the system seemed solid and unbreakable. However, much like the seasons themselves, nothing lasts forever.
The Beginning of the End
As with all things, the seeds of destruction begin small. It was as simple as the jealousy of a brother for his siblings that began the cascade of conflict that would end in the utter ruination of the Kingdom of the Seasons.
Three children were born to this family. A sister, and twin brothers. The sister was chosen to be a Solstice Angel, and even more honorably, became the Ascending Angel of Summer. Then, the older of the twin brothers was chosen as well. Surprisingly, though all expected him to be, the younger twin was not chosen. No reason was given, as no reason ever is; he was simply passed over.
Jealousy grew in the younger twin, as it would in anyone. He soon left the Kingdom of Seasons, descending the mountain to live amongst the common people of the lower lands. His siblings were sad to see him go, but they understood and hoped that, in time, he would make peace with the decision of the Solstice Angels and return to them. Return he would, but not as they hoped or imagined.
Darkness Below
For many generations, the relations between the people of the Kingdom of the Seasons and those more mundane kingdoms existing below their mountain had been peaceful. Many young people from the Kingdom would descend to explore the world below in their youth, returning to the mountain wiser for their experiences, and they were almost always treated with respect and hospitality by those they encountered. Some years after the departure of the spurned twin, however, this began to change. None had heard from him in those years, and his siblings feared for his safety, especially in light of disturbing events which began to occur, emenating from the lands below.
Young people still left the Kingdom of the Seasons to explore below, but now some did not return. They simply vanished. More frightening yet, those that did return spoke of the appearance of terrible creatures in the lands of the other kingdoms. Demons, twisted in form and spirit, who were inflicting terror upon the helpless people. Yet, secure on their mountaintop, those of the Kingdom did not despair. They did not believe that these demons could reach them, and even if they could, they could never overcome the power of the Solstice Angels.
However, in time, concerns began to creep into the leadership of the Solstice Angels. The Guardian Angels of each season convened, and decided that something needed to be done. What was a minor threat now could become a greater threat in time if left unchecked. The older twin brother, who by now had risen to become the Guardian Angel of Summer, was particularly concerned. He was worried for his twin, vanished all those years before, somewhere below in a land now ravaged by demonic creatures.
With the New Year, and thus the most important festival and ceremony in the Kingdom of the Seasons fast approaching, a course of action was decided. Two representatives of the Solstice Angels, a Descending and an Ascending Angel, would be sent below to investigate the source of the demonic incursions and put a stop to it. Judging by the power of the creatures observed thus far, it was considered that the power of these two Angels would be more than sufficient. They were incorrect.
One of the Angels chosen to go was the Ascending Angel of Summer, the sister of the missing twin and of the current Guardian Angel of that same season. Both siblings were hoping she could use the opportunity to locate their missing brother and ensure his safety.
What met the investigation of the Angels was more horrible than they could have imagined. They discovered that the demons were none other than the missing children of the Kingdom of the Seasons, warped and twisted into horrific forms that mocked in strange parody the powers of the Seasons that the Angels guarded. Those they captured and interrogated all spoke of a single source for their power and their corruption- a being called Equinox, the Demon Lord. He Who Brings Truth.
The Guardian Angels set out to find this Equinox. They succeeded, but they were unprepared for his power. The source of it unknown, he was a match in personal combat for both combined. The Descending Angel of Spring was able to escape, wounded and desperate, to flee back to the Kingdom of the Seasons with the tale of this discovery. The Ascending Angel of Summer, however, was not so fortunate. For she had realized who the Demon Lord was: it was her missing brother, twisted and ravaged, granted immense power from some unknown source. Rather than allowing his jealousy to cool, he had let it consume him, and now he was out to destroy that which he felt had wronged him.
The Ascending Angel stayed, though wounded, pleaded with her brother to reconsider, to return to them, but he would not. She tried to the very edges of her strength, and there, weakened and in despair, he reached out and claimed her. He took her Crystal and warped it with his corrupting power, and as he did, she changed as well. When her hope gave way, he stepped in and twisted her the way he had twisted the others- transforming her into the first of the Demon Warriors, a step above the paltry demons that had been created so far. Reborn into a mockery of her former self, she swore allegiance to the Demon Lord, and vowed to help in his mission to bring truth to the world- to show the Kingdom of the Seasons for the vile, hateful place that it was. For that is what Equinox believed, in his self-centered and jealous heart.
When news of this demon lord reached the other Solstice Angels, they were rightly concerned. They sent more against him, larger groups, but each time they did, fewer returned. Only when they saw that the Crystal Flowers were beginning to wilt did they realize what was occurring. Normally, when a Solstice Angel with a crystal died, a new crystal was grown from the flower and given to the one chosen to replace them. This was not happening- the crystals still existed, though now in corrupted form, and so no new ones were spawned. Thus as the Demon Lord grew stronger, capturing and corrupting the Angels sent against him, the Solstice Angels grew weaker, their strength sapped and turned against them.
This filled the Guardian Angels with fear, as they did not know the identity of the Demon Lord or what he hoped to gain by stealing their adherents. They made the decision to send no more against him, lest they be lost, and to simply hunker down and defend their Kingdom until after the New Year rituals were concluded.
The New Year's War
Alas, it was not to be. On the eve of the New Year, when all the Kingdom was occupied in preparing for the rituals and the festival which accompanied it, the demons attacked the mountain itself. Marching alongside the horde of lesser demons were the Demon Warriors, the corrupted Solstice Angels, and at their head came the Demon Lord himself, Equinox leading his troops personally on what he hoped would be his day of triumph.
Though weakened, the Solstice Angels rose to the challenge, moving to defend the walls of their capital city, wherein the sacred Grove of Seasons lay. The fighting was fierce, and devastation wrought on both sides. Many fell, and it became clear that the demons could not force their way into the city.
When day broke and the bells celebrating the coming of a new year began to ring, the demons retreated. They had been staved off, and the Grove still stood. But the cost was terrible- many of the Solstice Angels had fallen, an worse still, many had been captured, taken away by the demons, soon to join their number.
The Guardian Angel of Summer, the older twin brother of Lord Equinox though he knew it not, had fought with the Demon Lord personally. They had proven equally matched, neither gaining an advantage, and had finally parted, the Angel still in ignorance.
To his dismay upon his return to the Grove, he found that only he and the Guardian Angel of Autumn remained, along with a handful of trainees. The rest had all been killed or taken captive. The Grove itself had lost its light- only the Crystal Flowers of Summer and Autumn still held a faint glimmer, barely visible. The others had gone dark completely.
Autumn still held on to hope, proclaiming that the seasons were eternal and could not be destroyed. Summer knew this was true, but he feared for their meaning, their very essence, which could grow dark and corrupted like the flowers themselves. And he feared for the hearts of his people, which reflected the meaning of the seasons that the flowers embodied. In his heart, he feared, but Autumn was instant that as long as they two remained, the situation could be turned around yet.
The Damnation
All remained quiet for some time after this. New angels were trained, but without the power of the Crystals, they were not the equal of those who had come before. Still, nothing was seen or heard of the demons, and some began to hope they had vanished for good. Summer knew this could not be the case.
When on a patrol around the mountain therefore, he was distraught but not surprised to encounter one of the Demon Warriors, a female, though her body was twisted and warped such that he could not recognize who she had once been. He prepared to fight her, but to his surprise, she insisted she wished only to speak. Some of the newer angels with Summer on his patrol expressed doubts, but he sent them on their way and remained to speak to the Demon alone.
She told him that she was tired of seeing the pain and darkness, and she wished to return to being what she had once been. Summer felt some hope rekindle in his heart, for all of these beings had once been his friends, and one his sister. This Demon Warrior gave him information on an upcoming planned attack, telling him it was proof of her goodwill. Then she fled.
Summer investigated her claims, and found them to be true. The information was solid, and the attack was met and prevented, the Demons taken by surprise and destroyed before they could inflict any harm. Again, the female Warrior arrived to meet with Summer. She gave him more information, and over the course of the next few months, many attacks were prevented with her help. Summer began to trust her.
Autumn, however, did not. He did not like what he saw, and he began to argue with Summer, insisting the latter was being tricked. Summer would not listen though- the rogue Warrior had gained his trust, and his hope had returned. He continued to trust her. Autumn, frustrated, finally took a patrol of Angels went went off to see if he could uncover proof of the Demon Warrior's duplicity. He did not return.
Some time later, the Demon Warrior herself appeared, putting herself in danger to approach the walls of the city itself. She begged Summer to come, saying Autumn had been captured and she had been unable to engineer his escape, but together they might succeed. Still trusting her, Summer took flight with her to the very core of Lord Equinox's territory. However, they were too late.
They arrived just in time to witness the corruption of Autumn. Summer was able to see first hand how the Demon Warriors were made, their Crystals corrupted by the power of the Demon Lord. Though Summer had suspected, had known in his heart, that the Demon Warriors were the corrupted Solstice Angels, seeing it happen before his own eyes was a terrible blow to his soul.
It was then that the Demon Lord himself appeared before Summer once more. This time though, he did not fight. Instead he spoke. He revealed himself, and Summer's heart suffered another, nearly mortal blow as he realized that Equinox was in fact his own twin brother. Equinox told Summer of his realizations about the world- that it was a terrible place filled with violence and despair, and that they Kingdom of Seasons was wrong to try and cover it up with peace and hope. He would bring truth to the world, he said, by revealing it to be the wretched place it really was.
Summer denied him, pointing to the female Demon Warrior as proof, claiming her desire to return to the side of good was proof that not everything in the world was as terrible as Equinox claimed. Yet he was again betrayed. The Warrior laughed, and as he turned towards her, she struck him with her spear through the shoulder, pinning him to the ground. He saw in her eyes then that she had never truthfully wanted to be redeemed – it had all been a ruse, a trick to lure both him and Autumn out of the city and to their demise. And it had worked.
Despair overcame Summer, though more than that, anger. Rage. Tearing himself from the ground, he lost himself in his desire to end this horror. Swinging his sword madly, he fought his way toward Equinox, and for every demon he cut down from his path using the power of hate and anger, his own corruption grew. When he finally reached his brother, he swung again. Equinox took the blow, allowing the blade to bite in- and with that, the corruption of Summer was complete. It overtook his mind, and like the others, he fell to his knees, his resistance broken and his memories of who and what he had been fading, ebbing like the tide. He became the greatest of his brother's servants in that moment.
With all of the Solstice Angels destroyed or corrupted, Lord Equinox had no trouble capturing the Kingdom of Seasons. The citizens there fell into despair under his thrall, their hearts darkened as the flowers in the Grove darkened, reflecting each other and the meaning of the Seasons as ever they had. Equinox took the Crystal Flowers and preserved them, though their light had gone out, for with them he could truly control the meaning of the Seasons and through that, the hearts of the people of the Kingdom.
Lord Equinox built a new Kingdom at the base of the mountain, and soon spread his influence over the rest of his world. A Kingdom of Truth, he called it, a land where the wretchedness of the world was not hidden, but plain for all to see. A more honest world, though one of despair and cruelty. This was as it should be, he felt. Everything was reversed, starting with the meaning of the Seasons themselves: Spring, formerly representing Courage, now meant Fear. Summer, which had been Love, became the season of Hate. Autumn, which had been the time of giving, of Charity, became a time of taking, of Greed. And Winter, which had represented Hope, now became Despair, an endless parade of cold nights with no light on the horizon.
And yet still, Equinox was not satisfied.
The Bestowing
Equinox knew that while he himself would not die, his Demon Warriors, his most faithful and powerful servants, had no such protection. So he reached out amongst the stars with his growing power, and sought a way to preserve them. He found it on Earth.
A man wished for power to protect his family. Equinox offered it to him, playing on the hope which no longer existed on his own world, but which here had fertile ground still. He formed a contract with the man- the man, and the firstborn descendants of his line, would host the soul of one of Equinox's Demon Warriors. In return, they would gain the strength to protect their family.
It was all a lie, of course. When the Demon Warrior took possession of the man's body, all that he had been was destroyed, and the Demon Warrior was born anew. The man simply ceased to exist, the demon taking over his body. And yet ,the contract was already in place. From this point onwards, each time the body was destroyed, or the heir reached the age of 16, the soul of the Demon Warrior would pass to the next in line, the contract bound into the blood of the family.
Equinox found such families for all of his Demon Warriors. Now, secure in the immortality of his followers, he set his sights on other worlds, beginning with the Earth itself- wishing to spread his Kingdom of Truth, of Despair, over the entire universe. Knowing that nothing could stop him.
Infomation Database (FAQ)
What were the Solstice Angels?
The Solstice Angels were the group of chosen warriors who protected the Grove of the Seasons, home to the Crystal Flowers which embodied the meaning of the Seasons. They were chosen from among the population of the Kingdom of the Seasons and highly trained in both martial and magical skills. They were schooled in the knowledge of what each Season represented, and raised to embody those ideals.
Each Season had 3 Angels gifted with Crystal Seeds from the Flowers themselves. These Crystals gave these chosen Angels powers above and beyond those of their brethren. The head of each Seasonal Order, and the most powerful, was the Guardian Angel. Beneath him were the Ascending and Descending Angels, equal in power and serving as his right and left hands.
Though the Guardian Angels are typically the most powerful, there have been cases where an Ascending or Descending Angel has grown to be the equal or even the better of his superior. Yet they remained loyal, because it was not physical or magical power for which the Angels were chosen, but inner character and how attuned they were to the spirit of each Season.
These Angels served until death, and only then was a new Crystal Seed produced by the Flower and given to the next Angel, chosen to succeed the previous.
What do the Seasons represent?
In the tradition of the Kingdom of Seasons, each Season has a traditional meaning which gave strength to the people. It was these meanings, these ideals, that the Solstice Angels sought to protect, more than the physical reality of the seasons. Each has now been corrupted into a twisted form of its original meaning.
-Spring: Spring represented Courage, and its color was Green. Those who were of Spring had unmatched strength of will in the face of adversity, though some were considered to be hotheaded or foolhardy in their bravery. It has been corrupted into Fear, and the demons of Spring use doubt, inner conflict, or outright terror to break the will of their adversaries.
-Summer: Summer was the season of Love, colored Red. Those who were of Summer were beings of compassion and selflessness, of leadership, forgiveness, and friendship without reservation. Summer was often considered the strongest of the seasons, for its adherents were the most pure of heart, though they sometimes were called too trusting, as the last Guardian Angel of Summer proved to his undoing. In its corrupted form of Hate, demons of Summer fight fueled by rage and violence, and seek to stir the fires of mistrust and jealousy in others to drive them to do similar.
-Autumn: Autumn was the season of Charity, and its color was Orange. Angels of Autumn were generous and selfless, always willing to give aid at any time. They were not the strongest fighters, but were masters of supporting others, giving of themselves to strengthen their allies. In the corrupted form of Greed, they twist the desires of others into envy and covetousness, until the desire to fuel ones own wants subsume all thought of others.
-Winter: Winter was the season of Hope, of looking forward to the thaw and the coming of a new year. The Angels of Winter were peaceful and wise, the light at the end of a dark path. They often left combat to the other seasons, mastering magic which helped enlighten, teach, and heal. In its corrupted form of Despair, they now work to instill sorrow and depression, fostering apathy and surrender in their foes.
Who are the Demon Warriors?
The Demon Warriors are the fallen Solstice Angels who once held Crystal Seeds. There are three for each season: A Guardian, Ascending, and Descending for each. Although they no longer hold those titles in their demonic forms, they still work as a rough indication of the Warrior's relative power and authority. Lord Equinox corrupted the Solstice Angels, and those with Crystals became his chief lieutenants and leaders in his army. Once magical guardians, they are now servants of his will.
The Demon Warriors have no conscious memory of their past as Solstice Angels, those memories subsumed in their corruption, though Equinox of course remembers the whole story. Whatever rare snippets of their past may surface are hazy and indistinct, more like remembering a dream than reality. Many things may spark such a moment of recollection, but they are usually weak and easily dismissed by the Warrior in question.
Over the many generations since the Damnation, the Demon Warriors have fought in many battles and inhabited many host bodies. Only recently, however, have some of them begun to question the meaning of these brief flashes of memory they sometimes experience. Although individual motivations may vary, this is largely due to the impending Galactic Solstice.
Why do the Demon Warriors bind to a Human host?
Lord Equinox is immortal, granted that power by whatever means he gained his original demonic strength. His Demon Warriors however, even in their corrupted forms, were not. They could still die on the battlefield, or even age and die naturally. The Contracts the Warriors have formed with human families is their way around this- now they can fight forever without fear of dying or becoming old.
Normally the Binding of a new host takes place either when the previous host dies, or when the new host (usually the first-born of the Contracted family) turns 16. Teenage is the best time, as generally the host is old enough to serve without being strong enough of will to resist. Generally, the Demon Warrior completely wipes out the human soul inhabiting the body, replacing it so that no trace of the original host remains. This does not need to be the case, however- if for some reason the demon is unwilling or unable to destroy the original inhabitant of the body, they can coexist, though the demon is usually the dominant force.
Once the Binding has taken place, the host is marked by a special tattoo found somewhere on their body which represents the Demon Warrior they contain. They also receive a piece of jewelry, either a bracer or a choker, made of black or golden metal and inscribed with arcane runes which are in fact the name of the Demon Warrior in the native language of the Kingdom of the Seasons. Both the tattoo and the etchings on the jewelry glow with the original color of the Solstice Angel's season when power is invoked.
Demon Warriors are able to appear as either their host or their original demonic form, and often switch at will depending on what best suits the situation.
Who is Lord Equinox?
The Demon Lord Equinox was once a young man of the Kingdom of the Seasons. Though both his sister and his twin brother were chosen to be Solstice Angels, he was passed over. This was not because of his lack of strength, but because of the darkness in his heart which was present even then in nascent form. The Flowers could sense it, even if he himself could not. His jealousy for being passed over led him to abandon the Kingdom and descend below, where he came upon the secret source of dark power which transformed him into the Demon Lord and gave him the means to corrupt others into his service.
Lord Equinox is a powerful figure, as he has had generations to hone and grow his strength. He possesses the loyalty of all the Crystal-Bearing Angels, now his Demon Warriors, and is very powerful personally as well. Above all, he is charismatic and persuasive even beyond any magical means. Over the generations he has forged a place for himself on Earth while he slowly works to corrupt it even as he did his own world. Today he poses as the head of a large corporation, Equinox Enterprises, which got its start producing holiday goods, of all things. He is nothing if not fond of irony.
His ultimate goal is to spread his 'truth' across the entire universe. He has corrupted the meaning and the ideals of the Seasons on his own world, but there are many other worlds where those ideals persist, and he will not be satisfied until he has turned each of them to darkness even as he did his own. He views this as a noble task, for he thinks the universe is a naturally vile place and that sentient beings are lying to themselves, deluding themselves with hope, love and compassion. He claims he is a bringer of truth, showing everyone and everything for the terrible creatures they really are. This has proven to be a very lengthy process, but he is nothing if not patient. He knows in the end, he will be victorious.
The Road to Redemption
What once was can be again. Each of the Demon Warriors possesses the ability to be redeemed, though the mechanisms and motivations behind that redemption will likely be different for each. The one thing they all have in common is that it will be a lengthy and difficult process- these characters are meant to be villains for a long time before they make the jump to hero (or anti-hero, depending on the character). The corruption inflicted on them is strong, and their memory loss is a major hurdle to overcome. Most of them currently do not desire to change, either content or even enjoying what they have become, ignorant that they could be anything else.
It is likely that any redemption would come by way of interactions with a host- traditionally, the Demon Warriors have wiped away their host completely upon taking control of a body, but in recent times that has begun to change. Many have begun to let their hosts linger, for 'amusement' or simple curiosity, though perhaps those impulses are driven by a deeper subconscious need. If these hosts are of sufficient will or purity, it is possible they could begin to effect the Demon Warrior and tap into the hidden desire to be redeemed.
A redeemed Solstice Angel would either move on, bequeathing the powers and legacy of their position to the host who saved them, or remain as a sort of spiritual guardian to work together with their former host to fight the forces of darkness. Either path is equally valid.
There are always stumbling blocks though, and aside from each Warrior's own inherent corruption and unwillingness to change, there is always Lord Equinox. The Demon Lord is jealous of his servants and is a cunning creature: he will not sit idly by and watch while his servants are stolen from him.
Only through the finding of allies and friendship among the people surrounding them do the Demon Warriors have any hope of succeeding in this most difficult task. But with support, willpower, and love, they can once again return to the light.
The Galactic Solstice
As with the planets, the entire galaxy goes through cycles and patterns- though not the same as seasons as we might think of them, they carry great weight nonetheless. One of the most important of these large-scale seasonal events is known as the Galactic Solstice. This event, which marks one of the mid-points of the great galactic cycle, is notable more for what it represented in the Kingdom of Seasons than for any actual galactic significance- this was the time, every thousand years or so, when the Crystal Flowers would die. Each in turn would shrivel, only to be reborn from a seed spawned from their falling husk. Though this did not effect the powers of the Solstice Angels, they considered it a great time of renewal and celebration, signifying the ever-lasting strength of the Seasons and the ideals they represent.
This time is now approaching, for the first time since the rise of Lord Equinox and the Damnation of the Solstice Angels. Although they do not consciously remember it, many are feeling the tug of forces beyond their knowledge, and it is acting as a catalyst to their hidden memories. The approach of this celebration, this great renewal, could very well be the impetus for some of the Demon Warriors to begin questioning their motives for serving Lord Equinox, and perhaps feeling a curious sympathy toward their hosts which had not been present before.
Lord Equinox himself is not oblivious to the approach of the Galactic Solstice, though he is hoping for quite a different outcome. He believes that when the Crystal Flowers die, he can force them to re-grow in a twisted and corrupted form, symbols of his own beliefs instead of those of the Solstice Angels. If this occurs, it will truly be the end for any hope of redemption for the Demon Warriors, but there is still time. If enough of them can regain their memories and their sense of self before the event itself, that tragedy may yet be prevented.
The Process of Redemption
As stated above, any redemption of a Demon Warrior will be a long and difficult one. The Demon Warrior must realize that his memories are just that, memories, not dreams or hallucinations. The host must have the will and the awareness to act, and both the Warrior and the host must have enough of a relationship to work together. Failing that, the human host must have a strong enough desire to be rid of the demon that he is able to overcome the willpower of the demon itself, which is no small task.
This is a process that will be done through roleplay, and there should be no set timeframe for it. It is not something you can succeed at on your own, but should be worked towards through building relationships with other characters and relying on them/involving them in your struggle. It is important to remember that the Demon Warrior is thoroughly corrupt and will not /want/ to be redeemed, at least at first, and will easily fall back into what is comfortingly familiar unless driven on by external forces- forces such as friends, their own host, etc.
The original emotion associated with their Season can also play an important role- for example, a demon of Winter could be made to feel true hope again, or a demon of Summer brought to feel true compassion.
And remember above all, Equinox always stands in the way- the final hurdle any Demon Warrior wishing to be redeemed must overcome. He will not make it easy.
Theme Information
The Primer
Long ago on another world there was a place known as the Kingdom of the Seasons. This land was guarded by the Solstice Angels. They were blind to a darkness growing beyond their borders, unaware of the Demon Lord Equinox as he slowly began to steal away the Solstice Angels, transforming them into his own Demon Warriors in mockery of their former roles. Eventually the corruption overtook the Kingdom, and the Demon Lord turned his attention outwards, to other lands, seeking to force the same fate upon them.
Organization Connections: Dark Fall
Demon Lord Equinox has sworn loyalty to Dark Fall. However, like all such beings, his loyalty is out of personal motivation rather than belief in any common cause. He views Dark Fall as convinient allies in order to spread his vision of corruption and darkness across the universe. As such, he lends the assistance of his Demon Warriors to the other members of Dark Fall, and requests assistance in kind when he needs it. While Equinox himself plays his own games, the Demon Warriors have proven to be capable and loyal servants to those Equinox directs them to assist. When not under specific orders from him directly, the Demon Warriors have standing orders to assist Dark Fall however they see fit.

NPC'ed Cast
There is currently only NPC'ed cast member. This is Demon Lord Equinox (Haruko Warden) himself. He is used for plot points, when someone decides to be "naughty", and for use during seasonal events (due to his corporation's nature). If you are interested in using Equinox for something, please contact me (Aoi Mitsugi) and we can discuss what you would like to have him do.
