 Mami Tomoe is an elegant and refined high-schooler, a pleasant girl who nevertheless largely keeps to herself. She's known as both wealthy and an orphan, having attended Ohtori Academy for quite some time. However, some ugly rumors have begun to spread about her in recent days. She misses enough school for it to be sharply noticeable, and some days even when she does attend she sleeps through class. Between that and her difficulties with the Student Council, it's said that for all her polished image she's turned into a delinquent. What isn't known to most is that Mami spends most of her time risking her life against supernatural threats, and is dedicated to protecting innocents.  A veteran Puella Magi and one of the most experienced magical girls in Tokyo, Mami acts like it, leveraging her experience to others and holding herself apart from most--she even left the Tuners over ideological disputes years ago. Once alone, she fights now with Sayaka Miki, her Puella Magi partner, and still brings Madoka Kaname on many of her hunts.  Her lonely lifestyle is further changed by fighting with the Chevaliers as one of their leaders, in order  to protect the people of Tokyo from rogue magical girls... even though Mami cares very much about some of those rogues.  She can be shockingly ruthless in her efforts to help others, but she's doing her best to live up to the kinder ideals the Chevaliers stand for.  Will her work as a magical girl be fulfilling enough to make up for the fact that she's almost entirely sacrificed her normal life?
