Warm, caring, sweet… all words that can describe Aimi Saionji very well. Some even say she’s ditzy and airheaded. She's going on her second year of Junior High at Juuban Public School, having made quite a few friends, and enjoying life as best as she can. A fateful encounter led to her acquiring her special perfume and realizing her destiny as the Perfume Splash Warm Vanilla Sugar. Since then, Aimi has worked to defend young girl’s warm and heartfelt memories from those that would erase or otherwise desecrate them for their own evil ways. At least when she isn’t busy making her own such memories with her new found friends.

About an hour ago, in the Dark King. Dark King decided he needed a snack. That means 'I need life energy to keep myself from dissipating into nothingness and TAKING YOU WITH ME YOU INGRATES'. 
 
So Pisard hops into the human world atop a skyscraper---- Skyscrapers are practically his natural element as he stares down at the world below..... ugh, all this worry over..... a sports day, Kids running about preparing, adults buying their children new equipment such.... unnecessary worry! 
 
The sky begins to grow dark as he lifts his hands to the sky!..... people below begin to grow weary...and turn that shade of 'energy draining grey' slowly. 
 
Pisard begins to float downwards from atop the skyscraper. 
 
Magical girls seemed oddly protected from this effect---- they probably might want to stop the freaky floating guy with wisps of silvery energy gathering into a ball in his right hand slowly as it grows larger.

Sakura isn't all that interested in the sports day, so she's kind of been avoiding discussing it. But she knows that her friends will be involved, so she's tentatively signed up for some team stuff anyway. She hopes it won't be too embarrassing. She hates having to run fast.... 
 
She's kind of in her own little world as she heads home from school, her book bag over her shoulder. She doesn't even notice something strange until she passes by a lady standing on the corner. And looking... sort of gray.

Sakana may in fact actually have confused Pisard for David Bowie. She might think David Bowie is, in fact, a demon who happens to actually be named Pisard for real and is a secret movie star, music star, and celebrity that also happens to be a demon lieutenant. As such, Sister Six is happy to go on an excursion with him. She doesn't absorb LIFE ENERGY like he does, but she does absorb passion, which coincidentally works well with his own absorbingness. She holds out a hand, drawing a small passion crystal from a child and guiding it to her hand as she hops down after Pisard. She doesn't really float herself so it's really more a jump than a gradual levitating drop. 
 
"So many at once." She muses. "I always preferred the personal touch, but I suppose to an extent this is efficient..." 
 
Sister Six snaps out her Starry Sash in a free hand and works on polishing her horns. Horn care is very important.

Aimi's a bit more excited for sports day, if mainly because she's the kind of girl that helps out and tends to get excited about such events. It’s odd given that she's not really a competitive person. She always tends to just help out more than such things. 
 
As she starts to make her way home for the day though, she does notice when people start seeming drained of energy and looking sort of gray. Like something bad and evil was happening and that she should maybe do something about it. "Hey, you okay?" She asks, giving one of the people nearby a light poke. Regardless of the response, she already is starting to feel like something is up and wrong, and she's already looking around to see if she can't spy anyone who might be the ones doing this. Every way but up just yet. She hasn't quite realized that sometimes the villains fly.

A sparkling, warm, sweet-smelling transformation happens, turning Aimi into the Perfume Warrior Warm Vanilla Sugar! A quick post-henshin pose later (That no one really sees) and she's heading off in the direction Cherry Blossom had run off in. 
 
She stops near her friend, looking around and not looking especially too happy about the turn of events so far. "This isn't The Apothecary's work. Based on their previous attacks this is just... too different. There isn't any chaos, nor people acting different other than they're just... not responsive. Still..." 
 
Vanilla frowns a bit as she tries to piece together what the plan is overall. "I suppose it could be a new commander that we don't know about."

And more importantly, smells some battle smells. She sniffs twice before adding, "What a refreshing scent! I do believe we have company!" She sniffs twice more before adding, "But where..." She sniffs again. "How elusive..." 
 
She catches her crystal and slides it into her pocket. 
 
"I'll try and stop any disruptions."

Pisard turns the corner, to see!....the transformed Cherry Blossom and Vanilla Sugar. This is odd for a few reasons. 
 
Number one is that refreshing scent that Sakana mentioned! Number two is that, they're not being drained slowly of their life energy and is instead, standing there. 
 
Pisard states his first knee jerk reaction. "Pretty Cure!?" he states. 
 
He gets a better look..."No...this is.... something else." he says with a widening smile. "I bet their life force is much stronger...."

It might not help that Vanilla is also, in a way, dressed like she was an homage to Pretty Cure. Nope. No siree. 
 
She does stand back to back with Cherry, pointing a finger out at Pisard and Sinister Six. She starts to say something, but then Cherry goes and steals all the good lines. Way to leave something for Vanilla. 
 
"How dare you! Stealing the essences of these people, who just want to make sure that sports day is a wonderful, memorable thing for everyone involved! You're just taking something pure and magical and turning it into a tool for evil, and we will never forgive you for that!" Vanilla finally manages to get out. She's still not sure that the responsible party has been found, but they don't look like they fight for love and justice. Bowie was evil in that one movie now, so that makes him evil now, right?

Vanilla dives to the side, trying to avoid the soccer ball, but ends up getting smacked by it when she forgets that such things tend to bounce around, and gets smacked in the back of her head on its rebound. This disorients her, but not enough that she couldn't gather up a small burst of vanilla scented magic, launching it at Pisard and through the bench while the sign post clocks her upside the head now. 
 
Vanilla straightens herself out, nodding and smiling at Cherry. "No matter what the evil, we will be there to stop it together!" 
 
"I am Warm Vanilla Sugar, protector of the warm loving, caring, joyful memories of everyone!" She finishes this off with a barrage of golden magical orbs thrown at Sinister Six. It was a move she remembered knowing about and having used in the past, or so she thinks.

She'll sort it out later, though. Time to fight. She pulls a stick out of her air, which glows gold as she holds it out. "We'll show you why we fight. Right, Vanilla?" 
 
She's got to keep psyching herself up, or they might just beat them. 
 
And as ineffective-seeming as a slash with the glowing needle might seem, it means she has to get into Pisard's face to do it.

and then that purifying, sweet scent overtakes him..."YEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" and with that he gets wiped away!....sent back to the darkness to recuperate. 
 
That ball of energy he was containg cracks down the middle....and shatters! Little wisps of light white scatter about, as the color and flush begin to slowly return to peoples bodies. 
 
The news will probably cover this as a gas leak or something causing a mass berth of unconciousness.

Sister Six throws herself to the side, the blast ever so lightly grazing her right arm as she hits the ground. Green acrid smoke rips out of her arm and she grasps it in agony. "Grggh...AGGGHGHHHH!!!" She screams, sweating. "I won't... I won't leave this world yet!" 
 
She raises a hand and points a finger towards the Passion Crystal that is, now, dropping down in front of Aimi. 
 
"Open up... A gate... to my father!" She cries out. "Let a window to his prison be opened! Hear the tormented cries of those imprisoned since your mythic ages!" 
 
The Passion Crystal cracks--and then erupts open, expanding suddenly into a large portal that pushes outward from both sides. It's about twice the size of Sakana's normal portals and it leads to somewhere... 
 
Dark. 
 
There is stirring within the portal, movement--and then an eye snaps open. Thick, green fleshy tendrils lash out and wrap around the portal, as if trying to pry it open farther. 
 
It lets out a horrifying screech, it is like an explosion of noise and anguish, the pure sonic force might send Aimi flying, but the horrible inhuman noise itself--it is ancient, old, dark, angry, and very--very determined. 
 
But the portal only lasts for a moment before the portal sucks in on itself, too weak to allow the ancient being through. It snaps shut and goes quiet. 
 
That is how terrified Sister Six was in that moment.

Let it be known that SOMEONE actually realizes the threat that Warm Vanilla Sugar presents to evil in the world. She is capable of many things. Many wondrous and dangerous things. 
 
Properly finishing her foe off is not one of them just yet. The Vanilla Purifying Crash fails to defeat and banish Sister Six, and leaves Vanilla open for a counter assault. It is a dangerous and risky thing to do now, after all. 
 
Vanilla is sent flying, but she flips around, catching herself "landing" one might say on a wall, crouching down. Since the force of the scream didn't harm her, obviously the fact that she had seen such a horror, and its inhuman noise would do SOMETHING bad to her mind. She is, after all, mortal. 
 
She slides down the wall to the ground, crouching down on as she reaches it. She remains like that for a while, even after the portal has closed. To most people, they would be going rather insane right now. Eldritch horrors are, after all, known to do that. 
 
Warm Vanilla Sugar stands up, defiant and almost radiating love from her. Somehow, in some way, the strength of her love protected her. Prevented her from losing her mind to whatever it is that Sister Six calls Father. 
 
"I... am Warm Vanilla Sugar. Champion of Love, Defender of Precious Memories. I will NEVER back down!" She says, part to encourage herself, to regain some strength, and part to hopefully intimidate Sister Six into leaving.

People are starting to awaken. Cherry Blossom... did it. She backs up against the wall, putting a hand to her chest and taking a few slow, ragged breaths. She can feel her energy is almost drained... she won't be able to remain transformed for long. 
 
And then Sakana opens that portal... 
 
She doesn't see it. She deliberately turns her eyes away, not sure exactly what that is, not sure she wants to know. 
 
She opens her eyes again in time to see Vanilla... still standing strong. She hasn't failed. And together, they won't fail. 
 
She rises back to her feet, and runs over to join her friend. She knows Vanilla Sugar can handle this, but she also knows that, like she said, together, they can definitely do it. She puts her back to her friend's. "Vanilla! Let's finish this, and send her back to where ever she's come from! I'll support you!"

She points a finger. "...But know this, even if you are far too dangerous for me now...that was just a moment in his presence. His return is inevitable. You will not fare so well in his presence proper." 
 
She doesn't wait for Aimi and Sakura to unleash whatever they're preparing for. Instead, she jumps back--and winks out of the dimensional plane, ceding victory to the Perfumers.

Vanilla watches as Sister Six concedes the fight and runs off. She stands there, waiting for a bit to make sure that the villains were all gone before all but collapsing from her combat high. "Oh god that was so intense... are you okay Cherry? Here, let’s get you to my place. I don't think my parents are home right now." 
 
Vanilla will then help Cherry over to her place to help her recuperate, or at least get to a point where she won't look too bad once she transforms back to normal. She doesn't want anyone to be too worried about what they did.

This time, in a rare breach of protocol, Cherry Blossom is the one to spontaneously give Vanilla Sugar a big hug. "That was amazing!!" 
 
She's so relieved it's over. And they did it.

They do see them, though, so after a moment Sakura realizes she's standing in the street in slightly battered magical girl cosplay. She catches the eye of an old lady walking by... and looks a little chagrinned, but then smiles. Sure, Defender of Japan. That felt pretty good. 
 
"...Yeah. Let's... um, patch up a bit." Her cheek is still bleeding.

And then sky parts, and a great silver orb SHOOTS out of the heavens, smashes into the park district's center. People scramble for cover. The news is slow to react, but Dark Twitter and Standardbook immediately light up with reports of a meteor. 
 
The mass in the center slowly, centimeter by centimeter, contracts into itself. And five seconds into this process, the ground around it RIPS upward, torn asunder by the emergence of youma! They stomp away from the sphere, sending bystanders scattering. 
 
And then the sphere rumbles, a deep, resonant thunder, "Join with me...become one...IN FUSION!!" 
 
There is a sudden wash of terrible light, a tremendous shockwave ripping away from the sphere, kicking up dirt, debris, sending people flying and trees toppling. And in its wake, a wave of inky darkness seeps away from the ball - a thick, molasses-like soup that still travels at alarmingly good speed. They were not expecting for it to bring friends. "All right, Perfume Warriors, let's team up and fight one of these monsters together!" None of them seem to be Dark Scents, so she's not sure which of them would be most likely to be vulnerable to their attacks. The big one has a few Magical Girls around it already, so she gestures to that one that looks like a giant cupcake. Just because it looks sweet doesn't mean it might not be trouble. 
 
"All right, let's go - everyone on that one, surround it!" 
 
She stands her ground and looks at Sunshine. "You'll have to take point, the rest of us will be right with you!"

As the smoke from the enormous rainbow heart fireworks display fades, a spotlight splits the sky, shining down on the edge of a rooftop overlooking the street down which the enormous hammer monster rages. After a beat, onto the ledge leaps one Diva Heart, the Earth Championship held above her head in her right hand, as her music blares from every building on the street, filling the air with the delightful strains of JAM Project. She lifts her other hand to slap the belt's surface happily, and then drops it back onto the rooftop behind her, bends her knees, and... 
 
... springs off the rooftop, right at the enormous monster's head, more or less crotch-first. 
 
She lands heavily on the thing's shoulders, facing behind it, wraps her legs around its neck, and then whips all of her weight backwards. The goal here is to send it flipping forwards to land on its back, with Diva Heart dropping to the ground to land casually on her feet. 
 
... that said, this is her first time trying this move, and this thing is awfully... ... big.

Forever Sunshine is rested. She's tanned. She's ready, like Dick N- 
 
Well, anyway: Immaculately re-garbed and distinctly less exploded, she has been hopping up and down and preparing herself for action since the team got together, transformed, and rolled out. This mostly involved stretching. When Cherry Blossom gives the word, she straightens up, nods once with a hand raised and curled into a loose fist, and says, "Right! I'll bust through that sugary shell!" 
 
Of course, the real problem facing her is simple: there's all that tarry glop on the ground. Running forwards, she tacks abruptly left, towards a toppled-over takoyaki cart, leaping up onto it. Then past it, onto the roof of a car. As she passes a stall full of novelty T-shirts and other touristy things, she collects an armful, saying to the stuck kiosk attendant, "Sorry!" as she runs past, and strewing them around like flower petals. 
 
Which, of course, provides an improved footstep situation. (The clerk spreads his arms and declares to Sunshine's fragrant afterwake, "Oh come on!") 
 
At her last vault, Sunshine can see that the only final landing point possible is on the cupcake itself. Left with only a chintzy paper fan for support, she bends backwards, hurling it between her legs as she leaps - and places her left foot onto it, heel arching to stand on the ball of her feet. The fan lands into the transformed bush with an audible "glop." Sunshine, still half bent backwards, extends her hand towards the pink sprite, index and middle finger extended in an accusing inverted point. 
 
"A park is a place where people go to form cheerful and everyday memories. If you're going to mess it up like this, you'd better be prepared for battle. I and my friends will be your opponent, you - you demoisselle of diminutive desserts!!"

I'll see you as soon as I can! I... I love you too... b-bye..." 
 
As she hangs up, she ducks into a nearby alley way and looks around, then sighs, "I'm sorry mom..." Then she holds out her phone and sweeps it around in a wide circle, "POWER ON!" 
 
The alleyway is briefly engulfed in light which quickly fades, and out leaps Distortion Warrior Errata, disappearing in mid-jump in a flash of code. 
 
Two blocks down, she reappears on the top of s street lamp, her eyes scanning the scene, "S-so many Youma. I've never seen an attack on such a scale... gotta take them out fast." Her eyes turn to the large purple creature with the hammerfists, "That looks like the biggest threat. Let's start there..." 
 
Standing up fully, Errata summons a magical circle in front of her, from which emerges a swirling, twitching ball of code. Then with a thrust of her arm, she calls out, "SEEKER PROGRAM, IKE!" 
 
The ball responds, launching forth like an erratically swirling missile towrards the Youma.

She looks at her friends nodding and smiling at what Japanese Cherry Blossom says. "I think we can do it Cherry. Lead us and tell us what to do, even if you do suggest others to lead. We're in this together, and we'll handle this beast like we did all the rest so far. Our friendship, our love, it will combine and together will deal with the toughest of monsters!" 
 
Her words radiated out over to Cherry, Sweet Pea, and Forever Sunshine, hopefully to give them the power and drive to fight on and help finish things off sooner rather than later. When there's massive property damage that is.

For the Kanto Magic Association, it has been a long 70 minutes. They have deployed in force to this latest emergence of dark powers within Tokyo, but there is simply too much to be done. Apprentices are helping bystanders flee the area, tending the wounded, and diverting local law enforcement as best they can. Magi and demon hunters are striving to check the spread of the youma, keep them contained within a relatively confined space...even if that space is an entire district. But only a few mages are powerful and experienced enough to do more than stall the spread, and from the start of the battle, they have not managed to deploy anyone to attack it at the source. Until now. 
 
Syaoran Li touches down atop a water tower and surveys the district. The young magus leans forward onto his sword, chest and shoulders rising and falling as he tries to catch his breath, his expression tight with fatigue. It has been a long evening, and it shows no signs of growing any shorter - not with three massive youma stomping through the town. He slides down the cable, electricity flowing upward, drawn into the paper charm by the slow, steady pulse of Eastern magic, filling the charm with stored energy. Syaoran places the blade of his sword against the charm, focusing his will. "Raitei--" he calls, then thrusts his hand forward toward the X-Chara. "SHOURAI!" 
 
The energy of the district power grid rips out toward it.

The Perfume Warriors will need his help tonight, so no passive aggressivly standing on lamposts while armcrossed tonight! He flicks out a few Amber looking balls that crack into some sort of weird mist at the Cupcake's feet.

She starts slashing with her chopstick, at the incoming cupcake flood. She's pretty quick with this small weapon and throwing off frosting left and right.

The huge chunk of concrete goes hurtling through the air, but Errata leans forward as she brandishes her scythe. Green strings of code run up her arm and into the shaft of the weapon, traveling all the way up to the blade before infusing it with power, "Port...!" 
 
And then just as the chunk of concrete is about to strike her, Errata vanishes from site with an audible BLIP! 
 
Mere moments later, she reappears behind the beast, her blade sweeping out to carve into it's back. Then again she BLIP!s out of existence, only to reappear to the beast's flank with a second telling blow. 
 
Again and again, she teleports away, only to appear from some new angle to slice into the Youma, and every time she does, the sequence becomes faster and faster until she is little more than a blur of rapidly blinking images cutting away at her foe. 
 
Then with one final strike as she sweeps by, Errata spins her scythe around with a florish, "DRIVER!"

The bolt slams into his shields and sends him flying backward, crashing into a rooftop garden. He bounces once and comes to a stop against a large pot of flowers, which tips over and dumps loam onto his head.

Syaoran comes to his feet spitting earth to one side, roughly brushing it out of the tangled mass of his hair. He grounds his sword and pulls his phone out of his pocket, and - grateful for his butler's lessons in the use of the text function - begins stabbing keys with considerable irritation. He thumbs send, spits mud again, and then reverts to Magic Association Tactical Doctrine #001.

Encased in tiramisu, Forever Sunshine lets out a statement of pure disgust: "This is just... sticky... getting... Wahh!! This is how you get ants!" She undulates vigorously in the pastry shell, before ducking her head down, immersing herself fully in the tiramisu. 
 
There is a fragrance in the air of tangerine citrus sweetness mixed with a sort of coffee aroma. 
 
THEN THE PASTRY ERUPTS, disgorging Forever Sunshine towards the creature foot first. That tangerine scent swells as she screams, "HOAAAAAA--!" Hopefully, landing one sandaled foot right square on the patissiere of perfidy.

Well, that didn't go well. 
 
Diva Heart goes flopping away across the pavement, sliding across half the street on her face (metaphorically more than literally) until she comes to a stop at an intersection, curled into the fetal position. After a few beats, she rolls onto all fours and drags herself dizzily to her feet, rounding on the enormous monster... just in time to eat a huge right from the thing's hammerhand. She recoils in an almost exaggerated fashion, her entire body swaying backward as if she were going to topple... and then as the left hammer arm comes in, she snaps her entire body forwards, arm flashing out like a whip to crash her open-palmed right hand into the incoming left arm. 
 
This exact exchange of blows happens about three times before, on the fourth, Rei throws her left arm up, the enormous hammer limb coming to a sudden stop on it. Her right hand flashes across to grip the thing's wrist (as much as a hammer has a wrist), and she plants her feet and pivots, pulling the youma several steps towards her and then whipping it on its way past her, at a run down the street, right towards the intersection she almost went rolling into herself. 
 
Just as it's about to blast into the intersection, however, an enormous - or, well, in this case appropriately sized - set of three taut ring ropes made out of rainbow light appears; they go taut when the youma slams into them, helpfully automagically turning its back into the ropes as it does, and then slingshot it back down the street the other direction. 
 
Diva Heart, meanwhile, has taken off down the street the other direction, towards Miyu and Midori; she, too, bounces off a set of rainbow ropes that appear out of nowhere, and sprints right back at the oncoming monster. When they're still about twenty feet apart, she springs into the air, thrusting her arm straight out to the side, and crashes into the huge monster with the rigid limb, hoping to take it straight down to the ground.

Oh wait. There's the jerk himself now. Warm Vanilla Sugar doesn't let Dark Amber's presence deter her from focusing on the task at hand, which is beating down a cupcake monster. This... actually is the strangest thing she's done so far as a Magical Girl. She needs to get out more. 
 
She turns to look at the cupcake now, deciding that if Dark Amber's going to be helping them for now, then she shouldn't worry about things. She'll fill him with love and warmth later. There are other things to do. 
 
"HEY! CUPCAKE! I BET YOU'RE A LOW FAT, NON-SUGAR FILLED, TASTELESS PILE OF GARBAGE!" Warm Vanilla Sugar yells out, trying to... make the Cupcake feel bad. She isn't really good at put downs. She sees an obvious monster that other girls are attacking. Remaining in midair, staying upside down, she sees a chunk of concrete that was flung around. Thinking it's an excellent idea, she points at it as it just rises up, shimmering with a dark-purple gravity aura like Sagi's own. Not sure of the best target to attack, she chooses the large monster-looking thing as the large chunk of concrete orbits her for a moment. "Well, let me make a first impression. Sagittarius Shooter!" she cries out, as the large concrete chunk fires down at the monster from above at high speeds.

And then it swings around, with her still attached, and then when Miyu comes in for the Port Driver, SLAMS that same fist down onto her. It moves, swinging seemingly wildly, and yet each swing of its fist easily parries a slash from Errata . How can it be so fast!? As if to prove that was no fluke, it then suddenly BOUNDS out of the way of Midori's Element assault and even Sailor Sagittarius' rebounded concrete! It's so FAST...!

Heavy pieces of debris break away from a nearby building, but amidst the chaos, she doesn't see it until it's already falling towards her. With a startled cry, she unleashes a blast that shatters the wall colapsing towards her, but the broken pieces still fall atop her. 
 
Once the earthquake ceases, the rumble shifts and Miyu pulls herslf free, obviously injured, "S-so strong... we need to weaken it or else it'll just steamroll us..." She straightens up and focuses, summoning a code circle at her feet. Moments later, a similar circle appears beneath the Youma.

And then she pours her power through the magic circles, seeking to disrupt and weaken Zakenna.

Warm Vanilla Sugar isn't paying much attention to that fight, but when it starts to come at her, she realizes she should in some cases. She tries to dodge, but its too fast and the smoke gets into her eyes. "Ugh... nasty..." She mutters, trying to wave the dark smoke away now. 
 
She manages to do so, but her eyes are still watery from it, making it hard for her to see. She faces the cupcake as best she can, frowning as she... understands what its trying to do? 
 
"I know you want a world made entirely of one thing, of the thing that you love and want the most. But it just can't be! The world is so much more than just a single thing; it is everyone, in their diversity working together, to make this world a better place, one where everyone of all shapes, sizes, forms, and even baked goods can lived in! You're trying to harm this, to destroy it, when you should be embracing it and working together with it! I know that you can understand what I'm saying! You just have to belive in it!" Warm Vanilla Sugar says, letting the warmth of her love radiate out towards it, hoping that maybe, just maybe, it will understand and stop its actions.

"Ahhhh!!!" Sweet Pea shouts, getting thrown back (though one might swear there is like a couple seconds of delayed reaction). 
 
She hits the ground, shoulder first, and hisses in pain. 
 
She blinks at Aimi who--apparently--speaks fairy. She scratches at her head for a few moments. And then back to the pixie. It...It looks so sad. 
 
"Ah...um..." 
 
"W..well... I like cake too!" She points her sweet pea shooters at the creature. "But I also like flowers! HERE! Have some!!" 
 
In her head she wonders why these peeps always insist on making her feel bad!! SHE HAS FEELINGS TOO YOU KNOW.

Diva Heart slams into the monster's hammerhand face-first, dropping to the ground-- well, technically, she drops onto the hood of a car, the metal crumpling beneath her and spraying glass in every direction. She rolls off the top of the ruined car and onto the ground, rising uncertainly to her feet, legs shaking. She turns to stagger towards the spinning monster, a plan to take advantage of an opening in her head-- 
 
-- and then gets blasted by its fist and goes flying across the street to crash into another car, the door caving inwards with another spray of glass, Diva Heart crumpling to the ground once again. 
 
It takes her a good ten second to get up this time; she spends most of it rolling around on the ground in apparent agony, clutching at her chest. Slowly, however, she drags herself to her feet, takes a few staggering steps away from the monster-- 
 
-- and then whirls, dropping heavily onto all fours, slamming her knuckles into the pavement hard enough to leave little cracks. She stretches out, like some kind of weird predator, and begins raising her fists and then punching them back into the ground in a steady rhythm that slowly builds in tempo, just glaring daggers at hammer-hands over there.

The worst part about these youma is not the fact that they are kicking the crap out of him, the young magus thinks. The worst part about them is that they are kicking the crap out of him with depression and sweet treats. The magus rubs delicious blown sugar off his face and slowly pushes himself to his feet, knees shaking. He's low on energy and charms both. His mana barrier is flickering. He...he.... The magus's sword tip droops.

The words don't escape his mouth - Yelan Li had long lectured her son and heir on the importance of maintaining calm and composure on the battlefield. A huge warm cookie, oozing semi-molten chocolate, wraps around Forever Sunshine's right arm. She looks there, feeling the chocolate ooze, the dough clinging like somewhat less caustic concrete. Another one spluts against her left shoulder, and then a third at her abdomen. A fourth one knocks her off her perch - or almost so. Her leg brushes that strange black ooze, and she curls her fists... 
 
"This is stupid!!" she declares. "People are being hurt! Livelihoods are in danger! I love sweet treats and hope we can all get along as much as the next girl, but--" Sandalwood smoke rises from her cookie-doughed regions as the pastry is flash-baked to the point of being overcrisp -- and therefore, brittle! She bursts free with a brief snap of legs and arms, and then strikes a pose atop a piece of playground equipment that had been dislodged by other forms of mayhem. 
 
"I can't forgive this. Rise, my passion!" Forever Sunshine says, sinking into a preparatory horse-stance. "The memories of the distant past come to me and guide my hand! For the sake of everyone's hopes, I have to reveal my true power--" This is about where Li hops off a building, sword first. Forever Sunshine advances to the far end of the see-saw, wind whipping and gathering in a flowery storm around her right hand. "Pinkkkkk-- PEONYYYYYYY---" 
 
A sudden leap forwards. She jabs her hand out in a surprisingly modest little feint. Why, it might not even raise a bruise on a delicate flower such as Madobe! This one inch punch, of course, is deceptive. It /would/ raise a bruise on Madobe. But the physical force is the merest fraction of her gathered, surging energy. "Overrrrrrrrrrrr-" 
 
It bursts out, crackling through the air like the lightning of a summer storm and leaving the scent of peony blossoms in its wake, rather than ozone or burnt rope. "DRIVE!" Forever Sunshine declares, even as she swings down one sandal for the nearest durable object to backflip back onto a concrete turtle, as yet unconsumed by the goop. 
 
That durable object... was Syaoran Li.

And then Forever Sunshine jumps on his head. 
 
For all that he is a walking beacon of magical power, driven by the convergence of bloodlines that produced the greatest magician in history, Syaoran Li is also a ten-year-old boy, and weighs something like 60 pounds. When an eighth-grader's weight of magical girl stomps on his head, it drives him down into the ground, his chin bouncing off the pavement. A universe explodes in front of the young magus's eyes, his sword clattering as it leaves his hands. "Wh--" is all he manages to get out before the giant cupcake's confectionary storm engulfs him. 
 
After it passes, he lies facedown, and unmoving.

Then the ground beneath the concrete turtle becomes whipped cream. Tumbling downwards, Forever Sunshine bounces off the stone, feeling herself sink into the diaphonous material as a distracting throb runs through her head. The ground is growing nearer. What can she do? Her calves tighten!! 
 
BUT... 
 
Memories surge through Forever Sunshine. Memories of the shipboard candy cookouts. Memories of sugar and cream being heated, watching them caramelize, change, metamorphize, turn into - 
 
"PRALINE PULSE PRANA!" Forever Sunshine cries out, raising up a hand to the air. The scent of freshly cooked candy radiates out from her feet in a flowering ripple, the whipped cream converting into a compact and groundlike form. A particularly thick lotuslike construction blossoms beneath the collapsed Li, even as Forever Sunshine leans back and points dynamically towards the creature. 
 
A series of brown praline shapes compact outwards through the sea of whipped cream and frosting. Forever Sunshine breathes in deep, exhales again, before calling, "Sweet Pea!! I'll tangle it up!!" And with that note, one of the candylike eruptions suddenly bulges upwards, before volcanically tangerine-flavored goop issues outwards, trying to glop down on that pixie's wings!

She's not giving up just yet. 
 
She gathers up her own magical scent, the power she had back in the past, the warmth of love, of the friendships she had; of what she has now as well. She gathers it up into another golden, vanilla scented blast of magic, concentrating it into a more focused blast this time. 
 
She sees Japanese Cherry Blossom, nodding lightly as if understanding what she is doing. She moves quickly, positioning herself to assist, unleashing her concentrated blast towards the X-Chara monster to join up with Cherry's own attack. She looks over at Dark Amber, nodding lightly at him, knowing that she can trust him.

She then turns her head around, seeing an X-egg slam through the air towards her. Her eyes widen and she leans backwards, arcing one leg up for counterbalance - the X-Egg stirs her hair as it passes, nearly glancing against one of the mouse-ear-style hair buns she wears. 
 
Straightening up, she says to herself, "The Praline Prana - I can't manage it yet... how can I take the fight to this... other stupid little cute thing. Sheesh!" She stamps her foot. "Cherry! What sh-" 
 
The stomp resonates out through her praline interlock system. A ramen stall collapses, spilling its contents out through the immediate area, and Forever Sunshine looks -- and then when the fatty belly-cut of pork spills out at her feet, pre-sliced for inclusion, she says, "Perfect!!" 
 
She slips a toe underneath the sliced pork, tosses it up, snatches it out of the air and then cries towards the X-Chara, "You forgot the perfect complement to eggs!" 
 
And then... she throws what, in America, would be called bacon.

Out of frustration, Miyu gets ready to strike again, but before she can, the fist comes rocketting out and slams her head on, sending her careening back. She bounces once, twise, and then slams into a wall before slumping off and collapsing to one knee. 
 
"D-damnit... we're gonna have to go all out if we're going to beat this thing..." 
 
Using her scythe to force herself back to her feet, Miyu begins to focus and summons forth a magic circle in front of her. Power starts to arc across the code withing the circle and concentrates at the center, forming a sphere of light that rumbles and quakes with power. Gritting her teeth, she focuses more and more power into it, then throws her arms out.

And then the magic circle pulses, before erupting with a large beam of code energy.

"It takes more than that... to keep me down..." She unsteadily rises up once more, but doesn't go too far up. Falling still hurts. "Sagittarius... Midori Sugiura has has to wonder aout why that beast is just so durable? It's been able to take so manty and it's still going. She's still got a bit left in the tank and it's time to make use of that before something else puts her out of the fight. She readies her element as Miyu launches one heck of an attack. She follows up the beam of code energy with her element in nand and she is clearling not going to stop! She pulls the weapon back and swings powerfuly as she passes by trying to bisect or at least cut through a huge part of it as she passes.

She'll not even look back should the creature somehow explode from the mass assault it's now falling under.

Diva Heart barely has time to scramble to her feet in the wake of her dropkick before the monster rounds on her; she's only half up, and is forced to dive out of the way, the shockwave of the attack sending her tumbling across the ground. 
 
She stays down, and out of sight, until after Midori and Miyu have unloaded on the monster. And then, just as it's recovering from the two tremendous attacks, Diva Heart comes sprinting up from behind the monster; she slides between its legs (despite that being, of course, totally unnecessary), turns, and grips one of its tremendous ankles, yanking hard enough to send the thing toppling onto its back. Uhh... hm. She didn't think this through past this part. 
 
So she relies on instinct, instead; she darts up to in between the thing's legs, reaches out to grab the horrible monster flesh of its thighs, and shoves them into the air, bounding up to stand on it monster-crotch as she does so... and, in fact, pushing the thing's legs so far back its toes are in danger of touching its face. It isn't comfortable. 
 
With a grunt, Diva Heart puts her right leg forwards, and crosses the thing's legs at the shins, making an 'X' in front of her own... ... well, entire body, really, but theoretically her right thigh. 
 
And then with another grunt, she leaps into the air, spinning as she does to flop the monster onto its stomach, and - pretty impossibly - lands on the small of the thing's back, its legs still crossed over hers, and her own shoulders pressed into its body. 
 
Diva Heart has now, effectively, folded the giant purple monster in half, backwards. The animators become very confused, because they're not sure this is physically possible.

While it is thus distracted, the combined power of three splashes of complementary perfumes slams into it! The big red X begins to shudder, then crack, then shatter! 
 
But rather than the rest of the darkness flying off the X-Chara, it just...completely fades away. "Murrrriiiiii~!"

"ZAKENNNAAAA!!" the big purple horrible thing roars. 
 
And then Miyu blasts it with a horrifying wave of annihilating light. It staggers forward, attempting to charge through the beam to tear into Errata. 
 
But that falls short, as Midori hacks, slashes, and goes overall bonkers on the Zakenna. It staggers, startles; it tries to move, but it just can't. 
 
And then Diva Heart, with some effort, bends the thing in half. 
 
The animation team gives up halfway, and the thing just kind of pops - exploding apart into a mass of evil energy, that then dissolves into silver goop, that falls to the ground and sinks too-fast into the concrete. 
 
The way to the Silver Creature's den in Nishitama is now clear. But what horrors await there...!?

Well, it isn't a submission, but it'll have to do. Diva Heart lands heavily on the ground when the monster explodes, slumping forwards onto all fours and sucking in a few deep, ragged breaths while her distressingly loud music pounds throughout the street. Eventually, she stumbles to her feet and thrusts her fist into the air in victory, turning and climbing uncertainly onto the middle rope of a rainbow turnbuckle that appears out of thin air. 
 
After a few seconds, she plants one hand on the top rope and vaults over it, landing in a kneel on the other side; when she rises to her feet and begins walking, she has a gaudy, rainbow-colored microphone in her hand, as her music fades into silence. 
 
"Now listen here, you weird monster darkness meteor," she calls, her voice echoing through the street and, indeed, all of the streets, as she draws closer to the impact site and the expanding shadow hell. "I don't know what you are, and I don't know where you came from, but if you can hear me, I want you to come out here the hell right now, because you and I are gonna have a little Heart to Heart!!"

"I don't really have a team... I've met three other senshi. None of them seem to be... cohesive. There was the klutzy Moon, the enigmatic Neptune, and the hyper attention-seeker V.... all I've met. V seems like she'd be a good partner - apparently though we have similar powers and uniforms... it's not like we're cohesive... I dunno..."

The silver orb compresses, a man-sized skin of tightly-packed silver goop. And then from amid the mass, a slender arm erupts, fist clenching with a powerful creak of muscles that don't exist. A second hand, the fingers flexing. Bones that aren't present pop loudly. 
 
A leg, and then another, each eerily slender as it emerges, stomping into the ground. The central mass compresses again, forming a defined shape - a torso, bulky and with the vague shapes of powerful muscles at its center. A thin neck rising up to a slender head, with bulges to suggest the location of ears. A sharp nose, a harsh mouth; eyes like slits, exposing nothing but red. 
 
The figure rises easily to its feet, and then bounds into the air, slamming down on the grass before its crater. It rumbles, stretching out its fist and clenching it tightly in silent threat. Its voice thunders in the heart as much as in the air.
